Its not just sticking with them, i make them then decide they don't feel right or original.. i can't see myself relating to them so i cant roleplay with them.. anyone got any ideas for a character?
I've got lots of ideas, but I don't know if any of them would be good for you. I have six very different characters and I relate to all of them. The latest character I created is an Imperial (my first Imperial in any TES game). My idea for him is that he will be a leader, with plans to become a general or even an emperor someday, so the first thing he did was go to Whiterun and pick up a follower in the bar. I am going to perk him with things that will help him influence people and help make his followers stronger. So Speech perks are a must, even though they are relatively weak overall, they are needed for roleplaying this character. I will also perk smithing, alchemy and enchant, primarily to give his followers the best gear and potions, but to offset the overpowered nature of three crafting skills, he will put no perks whatsoever into any weapon or armor skill, and no perks in block or sneak. I expect to perk Restoration so he can heal his followers, but probably won't perk any other magic school.
The rest of my characters tend to follow fairly typical archetypes. I have a Khajiit dual wielding thief/assassin, a Khajiit archer/hunter, an anti-magic Nord warrior who only uses Skyforge steel weapons and wolf armor and some alchemy (no spells of any kind and no enchant), an Altmer pure mage and a Dunmer nightblade.
