In order of greatest imo:
5) Martin Septim: Say what you will about Oblivion, but they did a good job with Martin. You really get to like him during the Main Quest, or at least I did. It would have been interesting to see how his rule turned out. He takes number 5 because although his past isn't without mistakes, he seems nearly too perfect nonetheless.
4) Barenziah: That it pains me to not know of her fate beyond the 3rd Era should tell you my opinion of her.
3) Dagoth Ur: I felt bad killing Dagoth Ur. He truly was a victim of fate. The Heart of Lorkhan corrupted him utterly, as any organ of immense divine power would alter a mortal. Yet he truly had noble goals in mind!
2) Sheogorath: Who DOESN'T love this mad gods rambling? You know you shouldn't trust him, yet you can't help but grow fond of him!
1) Pelinal Whitestrake: This time traveling, sword theory, mass murdering, insane incarnate of Akatosh/Lorkhan is VERY interesting! His story is a testament to the brilliance and creativity of Michael Kirkbride. When someone asks him what the madness feels like, he responds with this:
"Like when the dream, no longer needs the dreamer..."
