Jauffre. As unlikely as your story sounded he believed you.

Ra'virr definatly.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ra%27Virr

He pretty much helped destroy Dagoth Ur.

I have a similar sentiment for http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Ajira.

On my first playthrough her mage's guild initiate quests were one of the first ones I did.
Since I had explored my way to Balmora on foot from Seyda Neen, I already had in my inventory most the ingredients she requested.
As a result she was probably the first person in Morrowind that was actually friendly to me.
Ive considered her a friend ever since.

Mai'q = Genius,laziness,irony and (lack of ) self-confidence

Cicero,Sheogorath = "The art of madness"

Parthurnax,Daedric Princes = dichotomy evil-good

Falmer, forsworns = socially excluded from their native lands = anger, madness and despair (legitimate feelings ?) = only real "victims" probably

Saint Jiub, mighty defeater of the dreaded Cliffracers.

Divayth Fyr, ancient Dunmer sorcerer and Dwemer scholar.

Martin Septim, a hero who would've been a great Emperor but instead sacrificed himself in defense of Tamriel against Mehrunes Dagon's deadra armies.

Grandmaster Jauffre, last of the great Blades Grandmasters.

Prince Attrebus Mede, Annaig, Mere-Glim and Sul, the heroes who saved Tamriel from destruction by Umbriel's undead hordes.

Not sure. Nerevar and Vivec are candidates, their strong and philosophical wills are so cool to hear of and see.
Others are Lucien Lachance, Zurin Arctus and Mannimarco. (The real badass Necromancer one, not the wuss from Oblivion. Give me Daggerfall King of Worms any day)
Then there are some more cool ones, Juib and Divayth Fyr come to mind.

There are so many cool folks in these games.

You do know that the Snow Elves wanted to kill off all the Nords right? When someone tries to exterminate you when you are weak you are kind of justified to return the favor when you are strong, but Nords didn’t. They just had them exiled from the surface. Dwemer did the rest.

edit:
While we know little about the Snow Elves it is fair to say that they weren’t very popular. No one came to their defense when they were being slaughtered and probably sacrificed to the Alduin. They were unable to flee Skyrim elsewhere for some reason. When Morrowind went boom you found Dunmer in Skyrim so why didn’t the same happen with Snow Elves unless everybody hated them. Hated them more than an average Nord hates Dunmer…

What the Dwemer did to them also seems really out of character for the Dwemer so it just goes to show that maybe Falmer really did deserve their fate.

We don't know that they didn't also flee to High Rock or Morrowind. It's entirely possible they did and were assimilated into the populations there through centuries of interbreeding.

On topic: Divayth Fyr.

Well, if we're including Daedric Princes in this, of course I would have to say Boethiah for his role in shaping Dunmer society.

'Empress Katariah (?b - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Third_Era#3E_200)
Wife of the eccentric http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Pelagius_Septim_III, Katariah was finally awarded the regency of Tamriel in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Third_Era#3E_153. The Empress Regent of Tamriel was proclaimed Empress Katariah I upon the death of her husband. Some who do not mark the end of the Septim bloodline with the death of Kintyra II consider the ascendancy of this dark elf woman as the true mark. Her defenders assert that though Katariah was not descended from http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tiber_Septim, the son she had with Pelagius, was, so the chain did continue. Despite the racist assertions to the contrary, Katariah's forty-six year reign was one of the most glorious in Tamriel's history. Uncomfortable in the Imperial City, Katariah traveled extensively throughout the Empire, such as no Emperor ever had since Tiber's day. She repaired much of the damage the broken alliances and bungled diplomacy had created. The people of Tamriel came to love their Empress far more than the nobility did.
Katariah's death in a minor skirmish in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Black_Marsh in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Third_Era#3E_200 is a favorite source for conspiracy-minded historians. The sage http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Montalius discovery of a disenfranchised branch of the Septim family's involvement with the skirmish was a revelation indeed. Her son, http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Cassynder, assumed the throne.'

From uesp.net

She's only mentioned in a book but I love her.
She's not necessarily my favourite but I wanted to mention her.

The Gray Fox. Everyone was looking for him. But the Legion just couldn't find him. Greatest thief ever

And of course Sheogorath, he's just too damn funny.

Jagar Tharn. No question. I'm surprised and, at the same time dissappointed that Bethesda never put another appearance, if even brief, in any of these recent games.

That and more explanation on the dwemer. I would love to see the dwarves... Even, again, if just briefly.

And the guy from the college who made the experiment to teleport to where the dwarves were... Follow up on that, damn it!

My favorite's probably Potentate Versidue-Shiae. Though a lot of it is dramatic license (Historical fiction in fictional history) the book series 2920, The Last Year of the First Era is the only known instance documenting an Akavir as a person, and not a monster. Assuming the rumors are true and the (also rumored) Elder Scrolls MMO takes place during the Second Era (Age of Chaos), 2920 certainly sets the stage for why that's a good area to start.
