Will the Vigilants Of Stendarr turn hostile?

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 3:34 pm

I think they are a bunch of bums who call themselves "The Vigilants Of Standarr" when in fact they gather to play a few hands of strip poker on Friday night.

When you see them walking at night with a torch in hand, well, that's because they are hi in acid.

They only attack you if you attack them or their HQ.

On my evil Dunmer Dark Champion character I butchered them when I got the chance too now any wandering groups tend to attack me on sight.

apparently they attack you when you're wearing daedric armor, but i'm not sure if its one piece or a full set that gets them mad
No they dont I went up to them wearing a full set and carrying a daedric battle axe asked them to cure me and they did so. Then they gave me the always walk in the light or we will drag you to it line and I went on my merry way.

Only seen them hostile when they've 'accidentally' stepped in to one of my area effect spells. Shame really they could have been the at the core of an interesting questline.

You expect your actions to have consequences? This must be your first Bethesda game :teehee:

Actually there were a good many actions in Fallout 3 that had severe consequences. Skyrim seems to be the most lenient of all their games so far in this regard. I wouldn't lump all of Bethesda's games into that category.

I'm sorry to hear you struggled to enjoy these games.

Struggled? I have, and still do thorougly enjoy them as dungeon crawlers.

Apart from Megaton, i don't remeber any. And even in that case you still had access to the quest giver/shopkeeper. It's just not something Beth does
