With the pc you are tied threw steam, theres chances you just wont be able to play your game threw steam. Not an issue with xbox or ps3.

Nopes, not an issue. With the xbox or the PS3 you are "only" tied to Sony/Microsoft...

If price is no object, stick with the PC for everything when comparing it to a console.

PS3 and X360 are generally the same, except:
MS burns money on getting stuff first (+), but their controller feels like a brick (-)
PS3 has a better controller (IMO) (+), but it has a vastly inferior fan base to both other systems, resulting in less [censored] given when something is wrong with it, which is inevitable since it wasn't made for the PS3, it was a port, even more inferior to the PC port.

I'd say go with PC unless you cannot afford ~$1500 worth of materials to build a suitable gaming PC
