Have the problems with this game been fixed for the ps3 ? Or should one not bother with ps3 and just get the pc version.

If you're dead set on getting it for a console, you should go Xbox... avoid the PS3 at all costs (as for most multi-platform games that are developed on Xbox prototype Window machines). If you're open to building a fabuluous gaming PC, go in that direction.

Get the PC version. Mods make this game better. And you can only mod the game on the PC.

If you already have a mid-upper range PC, PC for certain. The only downsides are cost of the PC (Which doesn't matter if you already own one), and personal preference. (Even though you can play on the PC using a gamepad and TV, making it virtually identical)

I have the ps3 version and its perfectly fine, these people dont know what they're talking about. Ive played 450+ hours combined with all my characters on ps3, and recently they got all the laggy stuff fixed and everything the game works perfectly now.

But i did just get the pc version recently, and i would recommend it just for the mods alone. Ive got this game so modded, but its completely badass. If you have a decent computer defenitally get the freakin computer version! mods make this game 1000X better if you get the right ones.

So your saying the people who had broken games on the ps3 are all liars? Wow.

If you had to choose between the two. Get the PC version. It has so much more what with Mods 'n' stuff. The PS3 still has buggy bugs, to my understanding.

I just wish that I had gotten Skyrim for the PC, instead of the XBox... :|

PC is the best version (Although that's if you can deal with Steam). PS3 is not worth it, I don't know if it will ever get fixed.

So your saying the people who had broken games on the ps3 are all liars? Wow.

Uh no. Because i was a person who had a "broken" game as you put it. I was one of those people who had the game lag hardcoe at high levels all the time and had to turn off the ps3 and back on every 30 minutes to play it. I was one of the people who had my magic resistance not calculate properly and have to wait a month for them to come out with a patch to fix it. I was one of the people to have the game glitch on me occassionally.

As i said ive put over 450 hours of gameplay on the PS3 alone. Sure the game was broken at a time. But i just recently played a character for over 100 hours on that file from version 1.4 on the ps3 and i didnt have one glitch the whole time, the game never froze or lagged the entire time either. So yes i am saying that if somebody claims the game is broken on the ps3 right now, they are a liar because i know first hand that it is not.

This game was definitally worth the 60 dollars if call of duty or assassins creed can pump 1-2 games a year and charge 70 dollars. This game was so worth the 60 dollars for me that i paid another 60 dollars for the computer version as well so i can play it with mods. Im a hardcoe tes fan and ive played a lot of the game on the console (mostly cus of [censored] computer) so people who [censored] about it for the consoles or the ps3 specifically are a bunch of whiney [censored]es that have it too good they got nothing in their life that they can legitimately [censored] about. And THATS why the muslims hate us..

If your PC can handle it, PC. That's not even a question.

PC .. the best of all. Free content .. Mods. Better graphics.

I would go for the PS3 also, but the thing it is it's really buged and Bethesda keeps *even up to now* ignoring the crap out the PS3. They just don't care at all. It's really sad really i feel bad for the PS3 users. Some don't, but i do because they payed full price just like any of us PC users, but they had to get the horrible version which to me is not fair at all, and to all those who disagree you are very mean and ugly. :P

PS3 if you have one. It runs beautifully, and I know t least five people IRL who have it on PS3s and will say the same.
If you have the option, go for PC, and you'll quickly become obsessed with mods. I know I did with oblivion!

If you can choose between PS3 or PC I would say PC without a doubt. and the reason for that is possibility to mod the game if desired

...which is VERY time-consuming by itself, although very rewarding if you manage to get the desirable results :)

For example, I've been using the CK for 2 hours (by now) to build a house of my tastes, and so far I've only chosen the house exterior, and the place where I'll put it. Nothing else :P

Installing ready-made mods is far easier- well, it is for Oblivion, anyway.

Yep, for Skyrim it is easy as well (if you mean install, then edit them), but I want to do a house of my tastes from scratch. Have a lot of ideas already, and the exterior is already (nearly) in place :) (well, still without some eyecandy stuff outside...which I also plan to put).

The beauty of mods is that you have several sites you can download finished ones. And that's what I do. I don't have the patience to learn the CK nor the real interest to do so. So for me it's all about finding good mods, and with the ones I have now my Skyrim experience is pretty much a very good one. :)

Installing it for Skyrim couldn't be any more easy then it is imo, I use Nexus mod manager, but Steam works similar and they all do the job very nicely. There is always the risk of conflicts tho, but that's the beauty and hell of modding. :P

If you got a pc that can handle it,(got mine on xbox >.<) PC wins all the time vs consoles just because you can add awesome mods.

The problem with that is that sometimes you don't quite find something that completely adjusts to your tastes...for instance, I REALLY want a house in Dawnstar, and also I want it as Havok-proof as possible (in fact, very few of the objects I plan to put won't be statics, if none of them)...and currently there are only 2 housemods in Dawnstar, and besides they're practically the same.

So I plan to fix that :) At least for myself. If it turns out to be good enough, I'll release it as well.

With the pc you are tied threw steam, theres chances you just wont be able to play your game threw steam. Not an issue with xbox or ps3.

When it comes to Steam I haven't had problems with steam in years, it runs rock solid for me. :)
