J'derras makes sure to have plenty of resist magic, fire, frost, and shock potions for those pesky mages, as well as damage magicka/magicka regen/lingering damage health/paralysis poisons. He isn't Dragonborn, but he is a hell of an alchemist. The thing about mages in rpgs, they have terrible health and have a hard time resisting poison.
