"Lies" implies Bethesda discussed them with no intention of them being included. If a feature is cut that doesn't mean that they lied when they talked about it.
People actually did collect lists of developer comments concerning TES IV and FO3 and presented them as "developer lies." Developers no longer comment as often as they used to and they rarely talk about their games. Why would they when any comment risks a potential accusation if the feature is removed or people simply have a difference of opinion.
If people get excited about a feature and it doesn't end up in the game it's fine to be disappointed or to complain about that fact. However please don't accuse anyone of lying unless you have solid evidence that the comment was made with full knowledge that it was false.
