Married Uthgerd the Unbroken

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:24 am

I still find it ironic that she is called the unbroken and a vampire broke her in half. With that name she should have been invincable like some of the other hirelings / followers are.

Gotta love Nord names. Bjalfi the Contemptible, Signy Homewrecker, Grelod the Kind.

I know this is silly, considering we're speaking of 1's and 0's in a collection that eventually can be formed into a graphical image, but her face looks like it was trampled by a bucking deer... that fully intended to trample upon it. I actually picked her dreadful self up as a follower because I hoped she'd die on some fantastic voyage. Why would you marry that wildabeast?

I agree completely, but I have to give her credit: she stood by me till the very end. Which was at Boethiah's Shrine as my sacrifice. She served her purpose to me and repaired her honour for killing that poor boy in the Companions

I play in 3rd person, she wears all scale hide, stands and walks more like a lady than any of them housecarls. She may not have a pretty face close-up but under certain lighting from a 3rd person view she looks quite attractive especially her left side. As a High Elf she is shorter, maybe if your a Nord or other she will look down at you and give you a complex. her weapon is the http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Daedric_War_Axe_%28Skyrim%29

Just use npc editor or a mod (dova's angels) and she is one of the most beautiful women in Skyrim .
if you are not on the pc, then you are just stuck admiring her prowess in battle .
they do make helmets for this (plate , dwemer, etc.)

Only have this game on 360 so stuck with whatever is in the game. My first wife was Ysolda and she didn't do much but give me bad vibes when I'd come back from adventuring with my female follower and stopped the home-cooked meals. With a follower wife at least you don't feel like your fooling around on the side. I mean what choices are there of a wife/follower ?

I know, that bugs me too. I definitely wanted a Follower-spouse, but the options are pretty lackluster. Uthgerd is one of the only non-guild associated ones. Mjoll is there, but she's always got that weirdo in tow.

I notice the weirdo as well haha! What I noticed today was that Uthgerd makes use of magic staffs and I have many stored away.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I arrive in Whiterun and head home looking for my wife but she's never home. She's hanging out in the tavern like a shameless Jezebel. Then again, I don't want my follower to be my spouse. I go out adventuring to get away from that grind.

Orc chicks aren't very attractive - well unless you are an Orc. I've not seen Muiri or Senna mentioned here - anyone hooked up with either of them? I kind of like them.

I think all companions will use any staff they have in their inventory, unless they're using a Two-handed weapon. This is actually really handy if you give your companion a Conjuration staff (Particularly the Flame Attronach, which is a squirly little bastard)

Unrelated from the main topic but related to the side one that just developed. My evil mage has just recruited Sven from Riverwood to "assist" him on his adventures (after giving Camilla the forged letter that implicates Feandal as a total b@stard... hehehe). I'm looking forward to luring him into a predicament where he is outmatched by enemies and standing back to watch him die. Looks like that forged letter will do nothing for you after all... eh, Sven?

Breaking hearts and crushing dreams.

My spellsword married Senna. She is very cool, if you can tolerate her robed attire (360). My spellsword is a devout Dibellan, and thinks she is very sixy when she prays.
They live in the Markarth home, and although she is not a follower; he frequently suggests they move back to her place in the chapel. That way, he can take frequent walks with her back and forth (church and home) and watch her pray. Very good spouse... and provider.

I married Ysolde....although I gave Mjoll some thought until i travelled with her. She talks..way too much. I don't think I would have wanted to stay married to her...starting a new character though..

I had to send Mjoll to the blades to get her to shut the f up. If I could find a way to have her as a follower w/o the annoying dialog foaming from her mouth I'd bring her back. She is to steal a DA2 quote a woman shaped battering ram. Give her some heavy armor and a massive axe and just get out of the way.

But I can't tolerate her damned dialog.

No kidding... Right now she's following [my level 52 fighter] and I want to just turn to her and say, "Do you realize how easy it was for me to get your stupid sword back? And you almost died in there? And you were saved by some freaky little introvert who probably isn't attracted to you anyway because he's... er... um... attracted to other people? Don't you think you may be embellishing on your glorious past a bit? Now shut the hell up!"

By the way, I lost a follower that I actually liked (that mage that you can find in the Riften pub) in the Dwemer ruins looking for her stupid sword. His dialogue was a bit annoying too, but much more acceptable than hers.

WitchAzreal - thanks for the tip on Senna. I wonder if her robes could be changed on pc. I'm thinking I should marry Muiri seeing as how I stuck my neck out for her by murdering someone.

I still wish that girl in Darkwater Crossing wasn't married. She's like the female equivalent of Erik the Slayer (or Erik Hoepusher, as I like to call him).

I call her Uthgerd the Unbangable. I still have not married anyone in this game yet.

Might have to get with Saadia though. She is voiced by Susan Eisenberg, who did Wonder Woman in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

Oh yeah...I like Saadia, but she isn't available on the vanilla version even though you save her *ss from being deported from Skyrim.
