When you reach 100 in a skill, is the skill meter full?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 12:16 pm

I have my two handed at 100 and the meter is full. However when my archery reached 100, the meter below is empty, anyone know what its supposed to be?

To be clear, the meter is below the skill name in the skills section of the menu.

Same here.

Some are full, others aren't.

Not a big deal imho though

I think it has something to do with the formulas on this page. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Leveling It explains it there. It's nothing to worry about though.

Are you guys playing on PC or consoles?

If PC, did you use player.advskill on the console by chance?

that only happens when you use cheats i think the meter is full when you use cheats. i used cheats once to raise my enchanting and the skill meter was full when all the other′s where empty so i just load the game again and continue playing without cheats.More Fun without cheats

I noticed this bug as well. I found it happens when I read a skill book after the meter already reached 100

What "cheats" are you talking about?

I would like this confirmed, if anyone can.

I don't think it really matters, it won't affect anything.

...Matters to me, obviously, or I never would have created this topic.

It affects my eyes.

The usual. TGM (god mode) TNC (no clipping or no collision/walk through walls) Or using the console to boost skill levels, hit points etc. That sort of thing.

Well, Nopenske just confirmed that he has never used a cheat of any kind, and it still happened to him.

I've had it happen before, to a skill that the oghma infinium raised to 100 (from 96 to 100, I didn't cheat my skills up to 100, it was a one time use).

How did you raise the skill in question?

I raised it using the console player.advskill

I have several skills halfway between 100 to 101 after using the Oghma Infinium glitch. It makes absolutely no difference either way. You don't get any modifiers from fractional skill levels and you'll never bump them to 101.

Skooma, could you have a look at my newest topic I just posted about suggesting a level 81 attribute points goal?
