Anyone else feel a disconnect with the people of Skyrim beca

? so people complain about the time freeze, now they complain about the lack there of... this is why i don't want to be a game dev, no way to please the gamers...

Well, with most large groups, it's very easy to have the people complaining about one thing, and the people complaining about another thing, to be different people. And an outside observer just sees "gee, they never stop complaining."


And, of course, it all goes back to that old phrase "You can please some of the people all of the time, or all of the people some of the time; but you can't please all the people all the time." :tongue:

IMO the current dialogue system is heavily flawed and actually ruins immersion for me.

This is exactly what I thought about Oblivion's dialogue.

Personally i don't feel a disconnect, it feels so much better then in oblivion.

I never complained. People who don't mind something don't complain.... so it's probably better to just ignore complainers and do your own thing.

I thought the Oblivion character's actually had more expressive facial animations, even though the models were less detailed. For Fallout 3 Beth upped the poly count, but NPCs became more mannequin like and starched.

I think Half-Life 2 still hasn't been bettered in it's dialogue approach and facial animation, even though it's 5 years old. I really felt a connection to the characters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_AG_PzSeuY&feature=related
