Exactly what I feared.........

How does it?
They're not Imp's.
They don't have real wings either.

Seriously you'll never see anything flying sky high with those chunks.

Looks like Vampire Lords will only hover 4 inchs and not actually to be able to soar the skys........dang

Flying actually makes the world feel smaller. Plus, as long as cities are in their own world spaces, flight will probably never happen.

I'm glad they can't fly to be honest.
They look too impractical anyway.

I was just furiously scrolling to the bottom of the page to say exactly that.. those arent wings they're more like spears.

yea its disappointing but not surprising...we probably will never see any form of flight/levitation in skyrim because you can't fly in or out of citites like whiterun.

IMO it looks kind of dumb for vamp lords to hover but not really fly...this is why i'll be hunting them instead of joining them

lol on that note, you would join the vampires, since the dawnguard are just like every person that can only jump. They are like a Fighter's Guild, but with crossbows. And vampires can snatch those crossbows and use them themselves, but Dawnguard can't copy Vampire powers unless they become one. :)

Also consider since they can hover, that means traveling across water is much easier, and maybe scaling mountains too.

Lol Vivecs at Face.

, well the ability of the Vamploard (again I stress not the only thing of its nature) being able to fly is easily explained along the same reasons why Dragons in TES can Talk, or even fly.....and if you don't know what that reason is well..."Shruggles"

hmm i wonder...will i have to spam hover hop instead of spam jam jump to scale mountains? :P

i will blow the dust off my evil wizard turned vamp and see if his looks will improve...idk why but turning vamp messed up his looks, even if i stay feeding. Theres a new dark spot over his nose that looks like he fell face 1st in a dirty crack...i cant take him serious since he looks like a sickly evil brown noser :l

We musnt judge the gamejam video as being IT i myself thought the vampire Lords didnt even look nearly finished. I'm sure we can trust Bethesda not to release a half finished productt :)

I just hope we can play as Vampire Lords in first person.

That is a very GREAT request. That's one thing Werewolves should of featured, first person supported. I use 3rd person from time to time but 1st person should always be available for use.

Would be great if Bethesda takes the time to make sure there are Vampire Lady models too, maybe even a Vampire Lord/Lady model for each race and gender.

Well maybe Breton, Imperial, Redguard and Nord all get the same 2 types of models, but the more unique races deserve their own Vampire Lord/Lady model too.

:)

I'm honestly not surprised especially since Bethesda removed levitation and don't want to add it back.
That was more of a design decision. The "interiors" of cities are in totally different cells to make things more stable with the whole radiant AI thing. So if you were to levitate over a city wall in either Oblivion or Skyrim, you'd just see half of the houses missing, low-res textures and no one would be occupying it.
