In my short tryout of mounted combat I actually encountered a dragon. It was pretty epic as I was running around it and slashing it (a bit buggy though as my horse was strong enough to literally push the dragon away). Eventually though the horse got fried (RIP) and had to finish the dragon on foot.
I'm interested to know if you happen to see any finishing moves for mounted attacks.
I haven't had any so far.
Don't think they exist yet; at least I've not seen any in the whole time I've been using the Beta. Hopefully we'll get them further down the line but for now I don't think there are any.
I have Shadowmere, so do not need to worry about the horse, seems the best weapon I have on me at the moment is a steel battle axe, wandered off to explore, but will go look for a dragon soon.

A decapitation finishing move on a horse would be just awesome. *hint* *hint*
So, does the opposite happen? Do bandits on horseback attack YOU? Because that would rule. Who *wouldnt* like that? Would be cool to shoot the horses out from underneath bandits.
I was all excited about mounted archery, but then I found I couldn't hit anything. However, I picked the steady aim perk back up, & it solved that. So now, I'm digging it. Very much.
