You mean like Tiber Septim did, or pretty much the whole main quest in Daggerfall?

Basically, time happens all at once, and good times are had by all.

Even If we know a lot of about Dwemer already, Bethesda could always add some interesting history about them just before they've vanished. How about making them unbelievably more advanced than we initialy thought, like a existance of floating Dwarven castles over skyrim just before they've vanished or something, and then when they disappeared they have gone with the castles and left no evidence of it. Then, it will make going back in time would be more worth while. It's just my opinion though, I don't know if you guys like this idea.

If the Elder Scrolls can control time and (based completely on guess) blot out the sun, then why in the name of Nocturne's nickers can't they bring back some Dwemer with some quests and some awesome new.... thingies?

And call me a Fable fanatic, but I wanna make some sweet love/babies with Aela. o3o And divorce any wenches I may have had the misfortune of wedding beforehand. >>'
I think it would be awesome. I believe lore states that they just disappeared and no one knows why. Plus they were the most technologically advanced so they could have gone to another dimension or something.
Probably won't happen. The whole dwarven mystery has been in TES for over a decade. They probably wouldn't reveal their biggest secret in a dlc
The reason the Dwemer are so interesting is because they have vanished. I'm fine with having just seen the one in Morrowind.
It's the mystery that we don't know much about them, that is the most fascinating part about them.
I like being able to wonder what happened to them. It's just part of the mystery.

We already know what happened to the Dwemer: They tried to tap into the Heart of Lorkhan with Kagrenac's tools (Sunder, Keening, Wraithguard. Which you use to destroy the Heart in Morrowind), resulting in becoming the skin of the Brass Tower, Numidium.

I feel it would be like the Mother Ship Zeta DLC in Fallout 3 and really ruin the mystery factor behind them

Learning more about them, seeing a ghost or another Yagrum.... Maybe

but to have real live ones walking about would ruin the mystery that makes them so great

I'd rather them focus on expantions that not only add a new questline but improve the game as a whole. A little more Dwelmer lore and goodies could be added in, say, a Falmer based dlc which also improves upon a race of enemies which we will see in other areas besides the dlc.

It would be awesome and totally possible imo for it to happen I'm sure there is a fail safe way to bring them back and maybe Yagrum is the key.

Dwemer DLC please.

Matter of fact, make a DLC where I can jump back in time and witness the War of the First Council.

Then allow me to participate in said war as a Dwemer, or Dunmer.

Everything else is irrelevant.

I was thinking something like this, to start the DLC you go into a Dwemer Ruin and find a machine that when you activate it. It sends you images (You playing through). You get to see the War of the First Council, and play as a Dwemer Soldier.

I think a Dwemer based dlc would be great, there are so many ways it could be approached. Also, if it had the Falmer in it that would ease curiosity about the Dwemer and Snow Elf interaction that led to the Falmer.
