Immersion is probably a better word. Skyrim's world is believable, It's why I kind of cringed at the thought of vampire lords turning into bats, just didn't seem to fit the theme of Skyrim well to me.
I disagree in that in fantasy the sky's the limit and the Devs make that call, but agree to disagree.
Well obviously the devs make the call, doesn't mean they can't get it wrong.
It's their world, they can't get it wrong. However you are welcome to be disappointed in their decisions, but I wouldn't ever say they got it "wrong", when it's their creation.

I'm with you on the vampire lords turning into bats being cringey. It seems too comic book or cartoony.

I think it would be kewl if the Elder Scroll could be like a toggle since they have power over almost every aspect of the world (so the game play says) but just the fact that they are adding all this in the DLC ill be happy with whatever
