Personally, I think the Breton voice sounds kind of like James Woods....

this. I love Sean Beans voice.
But I really am into some of the accents in Skyrim,
I married a guy in Skyrim because of his voice.

It's not him, its just that every stupid person from Austria or Germany has that same voice

It's true. I've met several people from Austria and its uncanny how they sound like Arnold. It's not difficult to find someone with a similar accent.

You just noticed this?

Most Nords have the same accent, and if you look at a naked nord's body build AND examine their starting skills... I'd say there's a 90%possibility that Nords in Skyrim were based off an 80s AHNAWLD. >_>

Specifically... Conan The Barbarian.

Seriously. You can almost match Conan The Barbarian >_>
Nord with Onyx Circlet + the topless Fur Armor + Hide Bracers. Get a Greatsword... And you have Conan The Barbarian >_>

Well the guards voice reminded me of Arnold easily.

Now has anyone noticed that one voice sounds like one of the guys in Dragon Age? The ginger haired fella Knight who first joins you- DUNCAN, I think. I tell you one of the voice actors must be the same guy that does him.

Aren't half the Guards in Skyrim voiced by Gideon Emery (Balthier from FFVII and Fenris from Dragon Age 2) ?

I actually like the Arnold voices, I think they are humorous. My favorite is that one about the curved swords. It makes me laugh every time.

Since I've only heard about 4 unique voices in the game, I can say yes, it sounds like him.

Either you're being sarcastic, or you haven't played long.

I married a guy in Skyrim because of his voice.

I hope you don't meet the guy who provided the voice IRL. Would be awkward. ;p

Edit: Hmm, possibly ignore this if you are female. "phillygirl", only just noticed lol.

I think Marcurio sounds like Simon Helberg from big bang theory (Howard Wolowitz).

A topic basically about THE Guards of Whiterun, and still no... you know, stuff about them!

I like the Arnold impersonation though. :) Conveniently over the top!

And yes, that guy who's both Phinias and Molag Bal does a good job. A great slimy voice as well as a great evil voice. :)

No, that character is Alistair. He was voiced by Steve Valentine - who is not in Skyrim.

see, I've read many comments bashing the repeated voices in Skyrim, but I find it ALOT more diverse and varied than previous titles. Case in point: Oblivion was terrible for voices.

It's a start. But obviously the majority of named NPCs aren't covered by that. :(

States (as California is) do not have Presidents; the head of the executive branch of a United States state government is termed "governor".

The only exception is for, coincidentally, California; the proper term in this case is "Governater".
You dont get sarcasm do you?

Well, I have 104 separate voice folders extracted from the BSA, and there are errr... 71 people on that list. Now the guy who did specialmaleuniquetsun also did the malenord, and they're two separate folders. I don't know how much more overlap there is, and one actor or actress may voice for a heckuva lotta characters (for instance, Joan Allen does the voices in the femalecommander folder, which covers Rikke, Adrienne, Aela, Zaria, Thane Bryling, Housecarls Faleen and Iona, and Jarls Elisif, Laila Law-Giver, Idgrod Ravencrone, and Brina Merilis - not to mention The Wolf Queen Potema and the bloodthirsty witch at the beginning who wants yer head off!)

in other words, I think it's mostly covered.

Edit: See also: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Voice_Actors There's 81 actors on that list.

If you want to know who are the voice actors...go look in game manual or stand through the whole credits.
