What! Why would you want to fry a potato when you can bake it?
Potato in the jack sprinkled with mammoth cheese and grilled chicken briast wash it done with a honning brew mead
Now that's a meal!
AFAIK you can't even bake potatoes in Skyrim, you just have to be lucky enough to find them already baked.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good baked tater... in fact I've never met a potato I *didn't* like, lol, but fried taters, that's something special and it's missing and all the necessities for them seem to be there. I mean they have leeks which you could substitute for onions, they have salt, okay I haven't seen any pepper but you take some chopped up potatoes and some diced leeks and some salt and throw those in a pan with some grease/oil/fat over your campfire and you got yerself a nice crispy tasty treat.
I just don't think it's realistic that a society would have all the thngs you need for fried potatoes, and NOT fry potatoes. It's... uncivilized, is what it is.
