I think he meant that he made it tip so that the mammoth sat on him, so then, the body goes through the mammoth's butt.

Awesome Find! Maybe the skeleton of the man sliced the Mammoth in half and used one half of it's body as shelter to which somehow he ended up dying while inside. Or the Mammoth fell on him somehow, but I don't know why the man's skeleton would be inside half of the bones. Maybe the Mammoth sat on him and when inside it's butt.

I think it's Gepeto's, he was tried to found Pinokio in the Whale's stomach. But he can't found Whale in Skyrim, and when he saw Mammoth he though Pinokio was inside that giant thing.
