Ash piles correctly clean up, right?

I respeced my Destruction perks to get rid of Disintergrate since the patch failed to fix it, don't want to take the risk and/or wait...
I wish they would make weapons/shields stay on the enemy characters body though... So many weapons/shields left everywhere ><

That is a little ridiculous, all these clean up issues should have been taken care by now... especially when the unofficial patch has taken care of it already.

The people who do the unofficial patches should email Bethesda with the details. I mean, really.

I remember this in New Vegas too. And Sawyer even said that it WAS NOT a bug since it was present in Fallout 3. Pissed me off. They just copied a bug over from FO3 without fixing it.

A question to people who have bloated save files that are apparently unplayable. How much play time do you have? My largest save has 85 hours of playtime and it runs smooth. I haven't looked at the file size, but I'm just wondering about the time most peoples saves get big enough to cause problems, since it has NEVER happened too me. Not in Skyrim at least. In Morrowind I remember entire Cantons disappearing in Vivec City, and I remember the reference bug from vanilla Oblivion.

To make this even more ridiculous, I believe they do email them with bugs they find. :ermm:

What is worse, it they have community members here and on other sites like UESP that have built a database of sorts that has most of the bugs in the game. After all the money they made, how hard is it to take 1 or 2 developers, and say "For the next month or two, your job is to go through these reports and confirm/fix any issues you find." The game would be better, and we would be happy customers.

I find it odd how the patches have not been properly fixing these problems.

1.4 did not properly fix the ash piles.
1.6 did not.properly fix enemy respawns.

Then every patch breaks something.

Really? I have noticed this has been much better myself.
Better yes fixed absolutely not, I have extensive testing 70 hours with a new character, and the locations I detailed below is to keep things simple for myself, there is parts of the wilderness that is dead but they did respawn early on here is a post of mine detailing the plant and enemy respawns with a new 1.6 character.

There are a few locations that I have noted along the roads that enemies respawn at every so often, they have respawned fine there before patch 1.3.

1.6 fixed them respawning for a while but after 70 hours of play with a brand new 1.6 character the enemies along the roads have stopped respawning, to test I went into a house and waited four months and the enemies have not came back, the four areas along the roads are as followed.

1. To the right of the ritual stone wolves and skeevers usually appear on a hill and they have not came back.

2. In between Honeybrew Meadary and Graywinter watch along the road right by the bride there is usually a wolf or a sabre cat sometimes up the road there might be a skeever.

3. Directly North of North Brittleshin Pass on the road there is a rocky platform wolves, skeevers, or sabrecats will be on it and they have not came back.

4. Directly east of Fort Sungard in between a rocky crevice a bear usually stands but he has not been respawned.

I want to note so far all enemies outside or in their respective dungeons have all so far respawned.

Then I am having issues with my plants respawning, my plants are not respawning and the problem is getting worse bigger areas are getting effected and more plants are not growing back at all.

Also its taking some plants the normal two weeks to grow back for others its thirty plus days.

Then if I pick plants in a minor city just once and I come hack and they have grown back, and if I do not pick any and walk into an owned house of mine the castle or Jorrvaskar (spelling?) In Whiterun and I come back out sometimes some of the plants will be gone and other times all of the plants in the city will be gone.

Then there is some plants in the wilderness that is gone even if over not traveled in that direction.

I have cleared the cache and I've removed and reinstalled the patch, and I have waited over two in game years threwout a 70 hour play through with a brand new character I've made for 1.6.

Not only that, but it contributes to bloated saves which can render some saves unplayable. Its disheartening to go back to a cleared area once it respawns only to see all the weapons from the previous enemies. The only way to prevent this is to store all the weapons in bodies(which is time-consuming). It literally made doing the civil war quests a nightmare :cryvaultboy:

I literally pick up any weapon or shield lying around outside I see and then store it in a dead body. God it's annoying.

II would like to play a necromancer also but won't because of this. One way to fix this if they can't do it properly would just be to stop bodies from becoming ash piles altogether. I know it's not perfect but people could actually play the style at least.

Like how in the fallout series (3 and NV) you couldn't specialize in energy weapons.

How long has this particular problem plagued us? My god...

I have a few areas say one in the Reach another in the Whiterun Tundra that have not cleaned up and its areas where I brought some things back from the dead and I killed them to test the patch in the tundra there is three ash piles next to eachother. In the Reach I have an area with around seven or eight ash piles that never have cleaned up.
In order for a cell to be reset (and thus cleared) a certain amount of in game time has to pass. Visiting the area often will cause the associated timer to reset each time, thus delaying indefinitely the clearing process.
