The vampire boss-man in Dawnguard is wearing a cape in the trailer. Hope is not lost. (around :25 into the trailer on youtube if you want a reference.)

All the mods look like stiff unnatural crap to me. They don't blend with the world if you have an eye for nuance at all. The Game of Thrones cloaks are what I wish worked most, with the fur mantles. But the mods all look stiff and out of place.

Cloth physics would be awesome, I wish they had branches that moved too from your body like in the game jam.

In the Dawnguard trailer it looked like the chick carrying the elder scroll and the Volkihar Vampire lord Harkon had cloaks/capes..so perhaps.

I personally feel they should have capes brought in with dawnguard... have you ever seen a bad A... vampire without some sort of popped collar uber cape? I haven't.
