So what have YOU done

This is a thread to see what everyone else is doing to get ready for the upcoming DLC. Ive personaly been stocking up on potions and materials.

Nothing. I haven't touched the game in months and won't until the DLC is released. I'll continue to use the same character I have in Dawnguard since there is no incentive to restart the game.

Deleted all save files.

Yeap im going to do this, when i finally get to play skyrim again. Curse exams.

Reason is that given the scope of the DLC, it makes sense for me to roleplay a new character (since none of my existing characters are anywhere near "lawful good paladin vampire slayer" or "evil vampire".)

My friend told me you have to start a new character once you have the expansion downloaded. You can keep your old character?

I got my kajhiit assassin to level 81, im looking for one enchantment and then my gear will be ready
go to a blacksmith like adrienne, check her inventory for enchanted items, if she doesnt have it then save and kill her, reload the save and she should have different items for sale...eventually she will have what you want
make sure to save before you kill her, never after or you will load up a dead blacksmith ;)

I made my heavy knight join the legion and win the civil war, so I'm going to Rp a Retired-legionary who's family was turned into vampires in Cyrdoil.

Dark Elf Assassin

- Considers Legionaries his comrades but holds little love for the Empire. Sides with the Empire but stopped doing the Civil War quest during the Winterhold liberation quest.
- Considers Dark Brotherhood to be his new family. For Babette's sake, won't do Dawnguard faction. And the chance to gain power to lead my family to glory? Count me in!
- I've been itching to get a crossbow or the unique bow to replace Firniel's End.
- Since my smithing is at 15, I'm planning on finding it in the wilderness.
- Level 37

- Shrouded Black Sacrament Armor, modified using Creation Kit. Look up "Black Sacrament Armor" on the Nexus.
- I want to get Nightingale armor instead but that means having to do the dreadful Thieves Guild quest and pledge my soul (already belongs to my Dread Father) to someone else.

I started my new Imperial Arcane Archer/Conjurer. I didn't want to use any of my "old" characters. She's just level 20 so far. She might be level 81 by the time I get Dawnguard on PS3! LOL

My female Wood Elf archer is trying to get out of Helgen as we speak, with the help of ralof ofcourse.
After she gets out it's time to setup a base of operations somewhere, and try and farm up on equipment that she'll need for the upcoming DLC :D

I've been playing Oblivion. I don't even have a character for Dawnguard, oh well.

I've not done a thing. Heck, I've not finished Skryim yet, so DG is going to be a while before I get it. There's still the DLC on Oblivion I've yet to complete as well.

This is what happens when I waited so long to get a 360. :D

Meh, nothing really. Still a long ways off for me. I'll continue to do what I've been doing since January, roleplay as a vampire belonging to the Volkihar clan with the assistance of mods.

Not at all. I love being all powerful, it's something I'll never be in real life.
