Mine is at level 42 and is ready to go. I'm ready to retire my Steel Plate armor and Helms (maybe) and accept the Dawnguard uniform. Or maybe I'll just use the Dawnguard Helmet and stick with my trusty Steel Plate... maybe...

We shall see...

Nah I'm definitely switching to the Dawnguard armor.

Collected 100+ dragonbones for the new weapons and made me a set of dragonbone armor to match it and learned a few new fire spells incase I decide to go with dawnguard instead of vampires.

Offcourse it isent the 2nd coming of Christ, i wouldent care about that at all.

Its a vampire expansions to one of my favorite games, much more important.

Kitting my level 54 character out with some low level gear so im not overpowered.
If i had full Daedric armor and weapons, wheres the challenge?
Right now im wearing base level Fur Armor, Ancient Nord Gaultlets, Steel Plate Boots, Nightingale Hood.
As for weaps', i only got an upgraded Elven Sword and an Ebony War-Axe, plus an imperial bow (only for dragon attacks)
Im kinda getting owned by Spriggans and Forsworn Ravagers so BRING IT ON VAMPIRES!

Agreed. Even if Christ was inbound, I'm sure he would be more than happy to take a character through the DLC.

I re-installed Skyrim this morning (don't worry, I uninstalled it cause some mods I installed mucked it up a bit, I hadn't got bored!)

So, I'm starting a new game as a Nord Mage and seeing how far I can get without getting sent to Sovangarde by some crazy axe wielding orc!

I completed the main quest for the first time.

I got sick of the pure warrior character I made.. "OMG LOOK AT ME! IM 'GON WAK THIS BANDIT WITH MA SORD! ITS SO FUN U GAIZ!!", and completed the main quest for the first time(pretty lame), and now I'm starting a spellsword for the umpteenth time.

So yeah.. Haven't done that much when it comes down to it.

I beat the companions and cured myself of being a werewolf and I'm not in the middle of doing the College questline.

In November I created a Nord warrior who only uses shouts to be the Dovakhiin. I ended up putting 120 something hours or so into that character, I felt a little burned out and I knew there would be more to come for this game, so I stopped playing before I got too burned out to wait. I assumed Steam would save my saves to the cloud, and ended up reformatting and losing all my precious hours of gaming.

I've finally been inspired to start again, with Dawnguard's announcement.

So I started my Nord over again, going for the Dovakhiin storyline, using a shield and one hander this time as opposed to my original 2 handed Nord, and I am sticking with wearing clothing and armor specifically that I like and feel make sense in the world. So at the moment I am a light armor tank, which feels weird.

This is Norfrost Altermein:

But I also created someone to be a vampire lord. The Imperial, Diego Ortega (not roman sounding, but whatever) Here he is eating some bread and looking sinister.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/evilknick/Diego2.jpg

I had yet to play a thief like character or archer, so I opted for an Imperial who is a morally grey sort of guy, willing to do whatever it takes for his own welfare, who will eventually become a vampire.

But I soon got this sense that I was following in the footsteps literally of my Nord Dovakhiin.

Upon finding the first 3 sign stones, using Dovakhiin Relax mod, my assassin pulled out an old book and was researching the stones. As I watched him, I was inspired to connect these two characters.

Somehow, my assassin is stalking and out to kill my Nord character. He hates the Dragonborn, and I'm not sure why yet. But I am considering creating a full campaign for a mod that has you literally going through the main quest in parallel as if you are hunting the dragonborn and trying to stop them. An ambitious concept, but something I just feel really creatively inspired to do.

Eventually he will be a vampire lord.

But just pretending that we are in the same world has inspired me to play this game for hours on end, where as I was pretty burned out.

From leaving Helgen, I took Diego to Riften, which took me about 6 hours of adventure, I played nonstop. Probably the finest gaming experience I've had since November. Now I am flirting with the Thieve's Guild, and ultimately I feel the Dark Brotherhood will be incorporate into his path.
