Another perk tree that wasn't confirmed?

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 4:52 am

When I first heard about werebears I thought what a great idea. That'll be cool. Both are native to Skyrim. Both are kinda similar. Great idea.

When I heard about werevultures, weresharks etc I was like OMG :ermm: . What in the world are Bethesda playing at!!

What perks would you give for dragon shouts?!?
-Power.
-Deration.
-Distance.
-Recharge time.
-It doesn't have to be a whole lot, but it would be nice if we can upgrade them.

Lol, just a few days ago the forum was nothing but werebear threads, and now nobody even knows. It's like, it's like they used that memory eraser from M.I.B. on the whole forums!

Maybe, but were spears not native to Skyrim? I could be wrong.
Plus Werebears are the most common lycanthrope in Skyrim. Even moreso than werewolves.

If spears are native to anywhere, it isn't Skyrim. Morrowind or the Black Marsh. More likely the Black Marsh.
And how do you figure werebears are the most common lycanthrope when they don't exist in the base form of the game (i.e. without mods)?

Ok so theres rumors that werebears are in Dawnguard, but since there have been a werewolf perk tree confirmed. Wouldn't one be needed for werebears? I doubt they will add 3 perk trees to a DLC.

Even if there will be werebears, there wouldn't be a need for a totally seperate tree for them. They would operate pretty much the same way as werewolves, and benefit from pretty similar things. The only difference I would have to imagine would be the basic stats of the transformation (maybe werebear gives you more health or gives you protection and does more damage, but attacks /moves slower).

Regardless, I haven't heard anything about this....and kind of doubt it.

EDIT: Did I say common? More like well known. Sorry for the miswording.

i see. but still it would be hard to get a good soild perk tree with such various effects from each shout, it would be cool to have one though.
(perk trees for vampires and werewolves is a much needed improvmnt)

They should have added one for unarmerd combat before the transformations though.

Considering Dawnguard is going to be released in 4 days, the beta has been out for 11, I seriously think that if werebears were in dawnguard, we would see more of them.

PS. for everyone joking about werebears, werebears and wereboars were transformations in Daggerfall, and Weresharks are part of the lore, so yeah.
