Dwemer ruins. Definitely Dwemer ruins. Those spiders that leap out of the walls always catch me off guard and the place tends to be swarming with Falmer. I also steer clear of Nordic tombs unless they're tied to a quest, though lately I've been playing a character who goes out of her way to explore them. Bit of a conflict of interests, that.

Any cabins in the woods.

I haven't seen too many cabins in the woods. But when I do. I explore them, mainly because I'm always scouting possible new homes.

Frostflow Lighthouse... once was enough.
Whenever I walk past in, I can just imagine all the blood and... ugh. No.

I was surprised by it too. There's even a quest in Whiterun where you have to go in and get something because the Priest won't do it due to all the... "unrest."

They are up and around in Solitude as well.

Never saw any in the other cities' Halls as far as I can remember.

Think theres a quest in Markarth as well.

I never really thought about it, but yeah unless it's to do with a quest I tend to avoid the Hall of the Dead in the cities. As my main's a Nord I can justify it from the whole subconscious respect for the ancestors thing.

Does this respect cause you to avoid looting every jar and urn in dungeons? I have considered doing that with a character but I just can't help myself. Even if I have over 100K gold I have to check that jar to see if there is another 2 gold in it. I figured if I could make a good role-play reason for not doing it I could save some time looting. Talos knows I don't need more money in this game.

No, like I said, when I enter a dungeon or a barrow and I'm defending myself of those who are supposed to be long dead as payment for killing them a second time I take everything.

I am not really afraid to go into places. Maybe Dwemer ruins after what I've seen of Kagrenzel when I first started the game. I don't get what is bad about Frostflow Lighthouse. For some reason, I have yet to discover that location, and I've passed by that area so many times.

Discover it, and then you'll know. I've done that quest twice and I don't know if I'll have the stomach to do it again anytime soon.

I won't go into Radiant Raiment. I bought a beautiful fur hat for 125 gold, and I walk next door to Bits and Pieces and see the same hat for 25 gold.

I guess the mark up at RR is for the employee's eloquent demeanor.

LOL. Radiant Raiment is my favorite store. They don't have special markups. Only guy who charges more I've noticed is Enthir. But I guess it's worth it to most people.

Is that the place with

Spoiler

With all of those Chaurus and Chaurus Lords? If so I ended up putting myself up high and casting Flame Atronach like 100 times. Chaurus are my least favorite enemy to fight hands down

One of my characters took all the Speech perks involving merchants, which meant I got the best prices possible and they had the most possible gold to offer and I could sell anything to anyone. I was also very handy with enchanting and alchemy.

Late in the game I used to LOVE going in there decked out in as much Fortify Barter gear as possible. I'd walk right up to the counter, be greeted in the usual oh-so-warm fashion, and then chug a big ol' Fortify Barter potion. Then I would proceed to sell them a wide variety of shovels, spiggots, raggedy-ass clothes and poop buckets at wildly inflated prices until they ran out of money to spend. Some may call that cruelty, but me... I call it justice.
