Wind spells

I know. I use them frequently. Having said that, mages shouldn't have to rely on potions to deal respectable damage. The enchantment would go a long way towards fixing the problem.

Pick up one of the three elemental Dragon Priest masks, for all your destruction needs. Hey, it's better than nothing right? :P

You have to a bunch of quests for the mage who lives in the mushroom tower. I can never remember names. Then his assistant sells them.
you mean the fetch quests? I already did the main quests.... or maybe my destruction level has to be high.

These quest are side quest. One gives the key to the enchanting table, one is you being a experimental subject, another is getting a new stewart for him, etc His assistant sells the spells, and I also discovered that you sometimes have to save, kill the assistant, then re-load in order for his inventory to change. lol

You're right it is better than nothing. But I hate those masks. I spent a lot of time designing my characters' faces, why would I want to cover them up?

That must be them. Something that begins with T I think. I do not know. Anyway, I will be "playing" in about an hour, so I will let you know. I really thought it was the cultists that you first met that gave you the quest for Dragonborn.
telvanni robes? they don't have a hood, it's the same set as neloth wears. oddly enough neloth looks like a relative of my altmer mage, the face is similar and I have the bald head and beard...the first time I saw him I thought he would be my twin if i decided to do a dunmer mage instead of an altmer mage :)

This X 1000....even if I didn't mind masks the new dragon priest masks are too big and silly looking, it makes me think of the Predator masks if they were wizards instead of hunters

You know it's cool to have dragon shouts for things like controlling dragons and stuff like that, but cyclone would have been an awesome master level destruction spell since we already have all the other elements.

I'd give my left leg to be able to disenchant one of those dragon masks and get the augment shock (well I'm a storm mage) or other types of spell, rather than just reducing the cost. Its easy for a warrior to have a weapon that does a few hundred damage but my mafe was casting lightning storm at one of those Lurkers and he didn't seem to give a damn. I do like the wind cloak and other things but the problem is the perk system doesn't let you specialise in new things like you can in the destruction tree. Still, they did add lots of new powers which is pretty cool.

Thanks for reminding me! The master level spells are underpowered - plus taking so long to cast and not being able to move while you do makes you so vulnerable.... and yes I know you can use the Become Ethereal shout - but I shouldn't have to!

Wind Magic would be great... In the old TES Games, there were files for a possible "Air Atronach" as an enemy to kill but were never finished and added in-game. I think this was Daggerfall actually...

So ye'h. Wind Magic would be awesome to have and could actually add a new Daedra that they kept hidden away after all of these years.

Even though I agree with everything in here, Most of the Unique armour was Mage-based.
All the Dragon Priest masks were Mage-based, even Miraaks Robes/Armour was, more-or-less, Mage-based.

But yeah, There's some real good potential for some new Elements in Destruction Magic.

I was looking over some of the new spells that were added for this DLC. They seem awesome. Especially Ash Shell, and Whirlwind Cloak. And I was wondering do you think Bethesda should or would expand in wind magic for Destruction mages?
It would be good.
Just imagine spells like wall of flames or fireball.Let's name them..umm...ah [censored] that.It just would be cool to tear apart emenies with rushing wind. But they should add bleeding visuals.

Ye'h. Already explained this up in my last post. There was a possible Air Atronach back in Daggerfall, I think.
