More Mutiplayer Game Modes For Brink

Hey i was wondering if you guys can put more game modes in than just teamwork based modes! I mean you should do that, put some like capture the relay or capture the flag or some good old classic Team Death Match! Personally i dont mind but for all the other people, you should do it! Trust me it will make more people buy the game! Please take this into consideration!

And everyone reply to this and say what you think if there should be more multiplayer game modes!

The only thing that can save this game from if failure of a launch is a hasty addition of non-campaign related gamemodes.

i totally agree with this there is only stopwatch and objective from what i have see so far there should be at least a deathmatch or team deathmatch on a awesome first person shooter game

There should only be objective based game modes if any are added. Capture the flag, or sector control. TDM or DM would only hinder this game and wouldn't be played the way it's supposed to.

Objectives are fine as is. Just fix lag and that basic, important stuff. Modes can be added later as dlc.

Agreed. Objective based modes other than campaign would be nice. CTF, area control, planting bombs on objectives, some stuff like cracking a safe or multiple safes and taking back the stuff inside like in the campaign but that being the only objective. Etc.

I'm sorry to ask this question, but are you dumb? I don't know if you have noticed, but there are several game-modes incorporated into the game, but all of them are labelled as 'objectives'. Blowing something up is like sabotage/demolition, escorting comes in two different forms, TDM is there because you do in fact shoot other people, grabbing the briefcase and taking into to your own base is CTF. People call this game repetitive, without realize that from every objective you clear, you commonly open up a new game-mode within the same game.

Nice way of putting it. I am 100% enjoying this game. Wolf ET was my favorite multiplayer game before this because of the distance you cover, feeling the rush when the timer is running out and then bam! more time and next objective! Plus having more than one objective going at the same time makes every match different. You don't know if the other team is going to focus on the main objective or make things more difficult for you by blowing a short cut or sneaking behind enemy lines and capping your command post.

true, but what if i feel like strictly playing ctf in brink? i gota hope for the specific map, and then only get to do it once on one specific obj... just an example

i dont see how having more game types could hurt the game.

i think a capture the hostage type of game mode would be fun, one neutral hostage that your team has to escort to your base while the other team trys to escort him to theirs. Also TDM for when i just feel like killing or am getting frustrated with teammates. as im sure your aware, obj based game play with emphasis on teamwork is all fine and well, but often times your teammates are trash and dont work together at all, which is why tdm is a nice break.

Id want CTF more than TDM, but why do people act like TDM means no possible teamwork? Hello, the buffs? Revives? Ammo? Just grouping together to annihlate any lone guy that comes after you?

I dont know what the mode would be but some more variety would be nice.

i say thaey add TDM but take away incapasitation or it would just be a medic fight and u can find health things on the map

C'mon now, TDM in Brink would highly require TEAMWORK! Especially since theirs four different classes and 3 different body types! But I mostly think we need MORE maps!
