Character Animation - Rotation?

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 5:10 pm

Hey guys, been doing some static poses in Blender and playing with them a bit, had a few good results after some trial and error but Ive got stuck on something that im hoping you can help me with.

When I try to make an Pose that involves the NPC laying down something odd happens. In blender and in Nifscope the Animation will display correctly as lying down, however in game the animation turns vertical?

Is this a comman problem or have I missed a vital piece of information somewhere?

Im guessing its to do with the Translation/rotation settings of the NTransformInterlopers?

Any help on this would be greatly appriciated!

are you rotating the Bip01 bone to make them lie down? If so thats the problem.

whenever you do a full body rotation, make sure you rotate the Bip01 NonAccum bone instead of the Bip01 bone.
