This is a real problem considering how short the thread is.

As for the insta radiation, I think we can give them the benefit of the doubt and assume Caesar's Legion put the radiation device in there some time between the end of Fallout 2 and beginning of Fallout: New Vegas (38 years). Considering that it took around 8 years after the bombs fell for the city of necropolis to be founded (by the ghoul remnants of Vault 12), there is enough time for you guys to stop your complaining.

Who's to say the CL didnt sneak the radiation device in a long time before we show up, and none of the NCR noticed before it was too late.

Remember, CL has been in the area for less than a decade. Also, that seems like way too much planning ahead to easily believe.

Um moira instantly turned into something LOOKING like a ghoul. Full ghoulification as it was said repeatedly in fo3 takes time. Becoming feral tho doesnt always take time all it takes is your brain melting due to high enough radiation exposure.

If she got a 3rd degree burn damage all over her body I would imagine she wouldn't be up and running like that, let alone not have noticed a slight change to her appearance at all. She'd be screaming about the pain, and not laughing about the ringing in her ears.

Thats how you know shes becoming a ghoul. Those who scream and flail.. die and those who dont eventualy become full ghouls. As I remember it.. its been awhiile.. she still had her normal voice.

Yeah, because so far they also made Ghouls just like humans, only resistant to radiation, actually healing them, and being immortal. Think of it, they are just as fast and good in combat as humans, not the slow, fragile, shambling zombies who can't use a gun because their fingers has fallen off/grown together like in the other Fallouts. Next up there will be mecha-ghouls, I tell you!!!11 :P

Oh dear, whatever shall the humans do. *pats on the head* ...Lay off the kool aid.

I thought that you turned into a feral ghoul because you couldn't handle turning into a ghoul and you just went crazy.

Except they're all relatively low in strength and generally can only wear crappy armor. Not to mention that they don't have any powerful organized military forces. Seriously, I don't think ghouls are going to be taking over the Wasteland any time soon.

As stated earlier the Vulpes look like a pretty interesting organization. Sounds like I'll have to check them out on my quest to join Ceasar's Legion...

Born 1992, but I don't think that's the reason. More likely that we don't have Kool-Aid in Sweden. Not what I've seen at least. I know about it, I've just never seen it IRL.

That explains it. In the 80's, Tony the Tiger and the Kool Aid guy were the closest thing to God on Saturday mornings and after school. Back when boys grew up with aspirations of joining the GI Joe's and girls favored Barbie and She-Ra.

she could of been steadily exposed to radiation from the bomb in megaton and when it exploded the transformation into ghoul was accelerated?
