They have? I wasn't aware of that. I don't know if the fix will be as easy for the xbox since the chipset on the xbox is so old.
I don't see why that would be a particular problem unless the newer hardware was specifically designed to be more flexible to updates. At least, though, we have hope in that this [censored] might just be the cause of some terrible, terrible incompatability glitch with the rendering tech rather than the sad product of an inherantly low-quality game.
If it can be fixed so brink looks somewhere near what the trailers and other bits of press material made it out to be, it might be one of my favorite shooters on the system (since despite the "gameplay before graphics" argument, they do really hurt the experience in their eye-bleeding crappiness) but as they are, it's probably going to be the death of Brink on the Xbox even if SD manages to solve most of the issues regarding lag because at no point with a game looking this bad can you really immerse yourself in the setting or have a simple firefight without having to fight the blur and the pixels.
