Brink Graphic Issues

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:23 am

They have? I wasn't aware of that. I don't know if the fix will be as easy for the xbox since the chipset on the xbox is so old.

I don't see why that would be a particular problem unless the newer hardware was specifically designed to be more flexible to updates. At least, though, we have hope in that this [censored] might just be the cause of some terrible, terrible incompatability glitch with the rendering tech rather than the sad product of an inherantly low-quality game.

If it can be fixed so brink looks somewhere near what the trailers and other bits of press material made it out to be, it might be one of my favorite shooters on the system (since despite the "gameplay before graphics" argument, they do really hurt the experience in their eye-bleeding crappiness) but as they are, it's probably going to be the death of Brink on the Xbox even if SD manages to solve most of the issues regarding lag because at no point with a game looking this bad can you really immerse yourself in the setting or have a simple firefight without having to fight the blur and the pixels.

I just wonder if they know about the issue...
Their first post kinda says that they fixed it with a magical 4 mb patch
Todays notes are just related to lag between players with diff bandwith quality....

If i wanted to see blocky, unfinished and rough drawings i would give the crayons back to my 1 year old...
now to clean the walls......

Its frustrating, 2011 xbox is pushing out graphics on gow 3 that are probably the best seen on any platform to date and brink looks like this... pathetic, especially since brink doesn't really do anything phenomenal big shame don't think it will ever look any better either seeing as how we ain't getting a proper response to this issue and why should we hell we already paid sale done nice one splash damage and bethesda stop publishing other peoples failures you let obsidion ruin your rep with that joke of a dlc sold as full game called new vegas, I got an idea instead of stringing us along like tdu 2 and homefront are doing to there fans just admit you screwed us and give us an apology instead of crappy free dlc for a game thats not up to playable standard (just like tdu2) you bastards. enjoy that beautiful money you bastards.

i believe it does. But when I got 'em i just had my friend tell me how he had his hooked up so i did it the same. Not sure though. When I switched to hdmi the game sound in my headphones disappeared, only had chat capability

run the optical from your receiver to your tv, then you can use hdmi. and the headphones will work for anything on your tv as long as there is power to the receiver. i use them for my ps3 also.
