Chinese Stealth Suit in New Vegas (mod) are possible?

The stealth suit is awesome, I agree. Especially for Point Lookout's tough crowd of inbreds and super ghoul reavers. In FNV, there's the "NightKin" Super Mutants, who I think have the ability to go invisible, so maybe there's some way to steal that power and use it for yourself without mods?

Yes, the source of their power are Stealth Boys, aka those things which in Fallout 3 were single use and of a limited duration. In the earlier Fallouts they had a finite number of uses but it was more than just one and lasted a bit longer from memory but again didn't last forever.

I'd rather not have anything like that again though, kinda broke the stealth section of the game and made stealth-boys useless.

They were already useless to me because the were rare and needed to be collected.

Given what they did, I think it stands to reason that they were rare and not available through a shop keeper, from memory I think Fallout 2 maybe had only one which was in a 'lucky' random encounter.

Just for starters. . .
Chems are diferent in the game
Weapons are diferent in this game (the sniper rifle and silencer are now mods you apply to a weapon for just one thing, thats not counting the change to weapon degridation and repair)
you would need to code in a way to give an actual scoped weapon to the handfull of snipers
probably even the faction reactions and how the game handles it is completly diferent.

Heck even the skillbooks are probably diferent. Saftest thing would be to replace each skillbook with a comprable skill magazine.
Probably have to do the same with weapons, replace all existing references with the new Vegas weapons

What Jara (and myself) are referring to is the meshes inside the .bsa files, not the in-game items. I can change the mesh in an in-game item, and things like editor IDs and references would not change. Something like the Chinese stealth suit, if they are using the same skeleton in FNV as they used in FO3 (and it looks like it) it'd be very easy to add it into FNV, either as a new item, or as a replacement for an in-game item.

And don't get me started on mines, rockets, bombs, traps and other crap that kills me in one go

Fair enough.

I wouldn't ever have my endurance THAT low, but to each their own. :P

It's an experiment. I have a lot of fun. Until I get careless and is spotted and killed or walk into a trap that is. Then I Rage Quit

I might try something like that in F:NV. Now that I can aim my gun better, it'd be cool to surround sound it up and twitch shoot on one profile. I'm a patient person, so it would be a good bit of fun. :)
