Perk
Power Walker: you don't suffer any penalty to running speed in Power Armor (because for the purpose of the light touch perk all power armor is designated light armor) and when worn Power Armor weight is 50% of the original weight.

Okay, so I calmed down a little.
Obsidian, why did you only design 6 perks?
I don't know how hard it is to design or code/script/whatever new perks, but why such a small number?
A DLC is the perfect opportunity to expand the perk variety and you could add as many as you wanted to if you wanted to.
But I must ask, why oh why only 6?
If you gave us 15+ new perks it'd give some of us (me included) the incentive to start a new character and try out the new perks and try to find a new good combo of perks.
But 6?
Too little really, and the sleeping by campfire is useless, three of them are just +#%damage and the other two are kinda "meh" as well.
So I dunno how the rest of Honest Hearts will be, I just started it, but so far, I'm disappointed.
I really hope you take the chance with OWB or LSR to give us more perks to choose from. (At least a dozen in each DLC.)
Cause since I'm a console user I can't expect any new content for NV after LSR is released so I really want you guys to try and give us as much as possible before that deadline comes a knockin'.

you mean Grunt? that one's over the top, 25% more damage for military weapons is Call of Duty nutso. Cowboy at least made sense, for the setting and some of the setbacks of said weapons.

Don't remember the other perks' names but one was about +#% damage against any and all raiders and tribals and one gave +5% critical chance against any major faction such as NCR, Legion or BOS.
Seems like they want to overpower us even more with these perks.
Not gonna take them.
Was hoping for more creative perks.

yep, one perk gives damage bonus against raiders, tribals, and junkies.
another gives critical chance against NCR, Legion, and BOS
another gives you +10% damage for each bodypart you have crippled, which can add up
and of course the grunt one gives you extra damage using any type of military weapon.

one perk lets you sleep at campfires, ho hum.
another makes wild creatures have a hard time crippling and poisoning you, and lets you eat insects.

kinda wish there were more perks, dead money had some good character-building perks.

The Honest Hearts perks are absolutely disappointing. They're overpowered, universally good for pretty much any character and really, really boring. At this point in the game we don't need help killing things. I'm not going to notice a 10% increase with assault rifles. All the +_% to damage perks are redundant since raising that particular skill increases damage anyway. Some of those kind of perks are fine but damn they went overboard.

new ideas for perks:

hair of the dog - alcohol addiction is 25% less, and your hangovers are instantly cured by drinking more.

new idea for trait:
Hick - what you lack in sophistication you gain in clout; +10% each repair, survival, guns, melee, unarmed. -10% science, speech, energy weapons, medicine, barter.
