Any bugs you would actually want in the game?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:57 pm

Personally, the one bug I don't want is Fire Breathing Ants.

Oh, bugs, now I get it.

Could I get a freakin' giant beetle already?

Unlimited caps, ammo, health.

All guns.

Flying mutants.

You are joking ...right?
Unlimited caps, ammo & health, thats one way to ruin an in-depth game right there ( each to thier own i suppose ) ,but not my style..i like a challenge.

While it was kinda funny seeing some bugs,we should not encourage this....we need to make it clear that we need less bugs & a more stable game.
Just my view...not being a party pooper.

Well, I wouldnt mind a glitch like the Col. Autumn with Dad moment, I like looting their suits. So I hope this stays around.

this is a common misconception, consoles can use mods, just not to the extent that pc players can. on my fallout 3 game i have 50000000 encouberance, infinte caps, infinte health, modded guns(like liberty prime laser and bomb) , droppable NPCs, droppable trees and such, modded clothing. the only things you cant really mod that im aware of is the actual game world itself like Green World.

That's not modding so much as savegame hacking. It's sort of like the difference between painting your car and rebuilding the engine.

actually its more like modding, if you're modifiying a gamesave......that would be modding it

One that lets consoles use mods.

Not a bug. Also quite impossible. Unless you mean hex-editing a save game.

It's "possible" to mod a console in an extremely limited fashion. However, doing so requites aftermarket hardware modifications to the console itself. These modifications void the warranty, and in the case of the Xbox, blacklist you from Xbox Live. (Because a mod chip's main use is piracy with editing save games being a secondary best.)

The occasional flying protectron would be fun, or any other flying corpse.

i use the ps3.

i dont know if its a worthwhile endevor but i feel like i am missing out on a lot of stuff.

i honestly wish they would release the Geck as downloadable content on playstation network and Xbox live.

but if you know any way to do so please tell me. i only plan on using to get more stuff for fallout 3. not for piracy

ugghhhh, i hate that i started this convo....but for modding game saves for any console all you need is a transfer cable and a few programs (none of which go on your xbox, but are just there to edit saves) and you wont get blacklisted for editing gamesaves, what you're talking about is JTAGing your xbox. although while not perminantly banning you, you will get banned. modding gamesaves does not hurt the system or tamper with any of its software.but yes it is much more limited than what pc players get. ex: infinite health, infinite ammo, infinite caps, infinite ap,modded guns and clothing, droppable NPCs and sceneray and enimies.....but i digress.

but what i would like to see is a way to dupe items like in oblivion. its something that wouldn't hurt someone who didnt want to do it, and at the same time allow someone who does want to do it. i loved making 10000 watermelons fall ontop of the annoying fan

Bug: Walk through walls and floating as in GTA:Vice City's cheat disc add on. Tony would jump and as long as you held the button, keep floating into the sky into infinity and beyond.

But honestly, only bugs that can be switched on/off, as they can ruin the "immersion" that you're in a believable world.

A bug that allows a follower to have unlimited ammo with a firearm/laser weapon. Unless that is already in, which I doubt.

If i could pick one bug or glitch to be in the game it would have to be a duplication bug like in oblivion because it was done in such a way that doing it by mistake would rarly ever happen allowing people to play "fairly" if they wanted to and still let those who wanted a bit more freedom get mass amounts of ammo, cash, and weapons/ armor.

I've seen in this thread, people saying unlimited ammo or companions with unlimited ammo.....why?
Most people thought fallout 3 was too easy,so why have unlimited ammo & make NV easy,i dont see the point.
It also takes away the survival/scavanging aspect of the game.
Just my view :banghead:
