Just tried to change Command Animal into a lesser power. Doing so created two problems. First and most importantly, the spell no longer worked. I got the flash of light but the mudcrab was still hostile. Second, it produced no sound.

What else needs to be done/checked/unchecked/changed in order to make this (and other similar ones I plan) work?
