i was just wondering if the pre-order bonus weapons would be in the game to find in the later level's or if there is only one so that if you break it then that's it gone.
sorry if this has already been discussed.

Most if not all of them are the same as weapons already in the game just with a little bit better stats. You can repair them with repair kits or with similar models.

The pre-order stuff is just stronger versions of stuff that exists in the game.

Weathered 10mm Pistol can be repaired with regular 10mm Pistols
Straight Machete (or whatever it was called) can be repaired with either generic Machetes or something similar
Sturdy Caravan Shotgun with regular Caravan Shotgun
etc etc

Ye the pre-order bonuses are simply unique versions of other weapons in the game. Also, if it broke why wouldn't you just repair it? :facepalm:

Keep your guns in good repair. I Haven't broke a gun or armor in 3 playthroughs. Repair skill is high on my list of things to level up, right there with science and lockpicking.

hold on a sec, would'nt the Weathered 10mm pistol be reaired with 9mm pistols. Because so far there is no 10mm pistols.

I somehow doubt they would take out a very common gun that has been in the series since the beginning, but I guess it's possible.

i figured since there is 9mm why would there be a 10mm.

Its been talked about in interviews that an unnamed skill has been replaced with the "survival" skill, which covers things like weapon crafting and repairs; so it is a safe guess to say it replaced the repair skill. They also included repair kits which from the look of it can be used to repair any weapon including unique weapons. With all that in mind repairing weapons wont be such a chore as in FO3.

Repair is a skill in the game. Big Guns is the skill that's out.

There are 10mm pistols. Intact Garden Gnome saw them with Jackals members. I'm almost positive that there are non-unique versions of every single pre-order bonus item.
