by saying the possibility of Bethesda's latest copyright being DLC.
Yet here we are several months after Dawnguards copyright, eagerly awaiting (some more than others)
to kill or be a Vampire Lord. Though to be honest, I'm more excited about being a regular vampire at full
strength without being attacked more than being a Lord.
So, you may or may not have noticed the very literal meaning behind Dawnguard's name.
If you choose to join these vamp hunters, you will actually be guarding the dawn by
preventing the sun from being blotted out. Going along with this literal title theme, and
with the files discovered in the 1.5 patch, I've developed a theory about Hearthfire.
If Hearthfire is a DLC to be.
*Theory Part. Not To Be Taken As Fact*
Whether it deals with the month or the fireplace, Hearthfire will be about the return of the
Snow Prince, and you will in some way use Hearthfire to defeat him. Maybe it will
be the name of a weapon you have to forge, maybe its some sort of magic, or maybe
even just the month.
During Hearthfire the month, the Psijic Order practice the Rites of Moawita, which could hint at their
involvement. Tales and Tallows is also celebrated in Hearthfire, a nercromancy holiday. Maybe someone
will raise the corpse of a certain dead Prince? (I also think that seasons will be added to the game to accompany Hearthfire,
seeing as they were shown in that one video and Hearthfire is the month of autumn. Along with Child adoption,
did I mention Children's Day is celebrated in Hearthfire?)
The Snow Prince will lead a Falmer army to retake Skyrm and you'll have to use a magical weapon given to you
by the Psijic order to defeat him. This undead Snow Prince will be the embodiment of cold and ice, and a sword of
pure flame will be his only weakness. Or better yet, if Bethesda really wants to make it fundifficult, you have to defeat him
before Hearthfire ends. All the while collecting the materials needed to make Hearthfire the weapon and avoiding Falmer and
Ice Wraith attacks.
Then again, Hearthfire is the month of autumn, so maybe its an allusion to the coming winter
that will usher in the return of the Snow elves and be nothing more than a title meaning what month it is.
Though that does sound familiar.
As a side note: There is talk that any DLC involving the the Psijic order will also involve the Eye of Magnus.
I personally don't see how this could happen, seeing as discovering the Eye of Magnus is completely
optional and relies on you joining the college of winterhold. I for one am not a fan of magic in games and
barely play as a mage, I did however do this just to do it in a playthrough of Skyrim. So that's my opinion on that.
As a side side note: In Oblivion's DLC, did you ever notice that one deals with the Daedra and one deals with the Aedra (the Nine Divines)
and that Dawnguard involves a Daedric lord? One of the main themes of Skyrim is the banning of Talos leading to the Skyrim Civil War.
hint hint

i like how dawnguard caters for all the main classes though (apart from stealth) such as archery (crossbow), melee weaponary (dragonbone!) and mages (Vampire Lord)
