I recruited ED-D as a companion, but at some point he became invisible. I still have his perk and people still comment on my robot companion. However I cannot see ED-E or talk to him to tell him to go away. I didn't care much until I tried to enter Caesar's tent and was told only I could enter. So I told Arcade to wait, but the guard won't let in because the game has ED-E still following me. I have played many hours and don't want to waste time going back to an old save.

I also have this problem, it occured when I was traveling to Nellis Air Forse Base. I went the back way through the train tunnel, came across a glitch and fell through the map. Ever since then, hes been invisable. Have you been able to get ED-E back?

i had the same problem with him and as far as i no there is no way to get him back i tryed the go to valut 22 thing but that did not help and with him like that u can't enter any part of the game that only u can go like ceaser's tent and house's penthouse

MMM the same thing happened to me with veronica when i went into the energy weapons dealer place in freeside just kind of vanished. But i went and reopened talks with the victor (standing in front of the casino who says Mr house wants ta see me alone) I said fine and when i came back ot presto her invisibility potion wore off. I hope this works for you

I have the exact same problem. And like you, even though I have 100/100 saves in an effort to prevent this, I cannot get him to be visible in any way.

This happened to me as well, and just like AbusedBIGMOMMA, I lost him around Nellis AFB when I was getting bombed by the boomers. This is preventing me from doing many of the quests in the game.

thank god i'm not the only one having this problem. My ED-E is gone (oh, Boone is gone too) and i cannot recruit Rex to finish a whole laundry list of quests. I hope they come out with a patch fast to solve all of our problems. In the meantime, my attitude towards this game has diminished and i guess im back to playing dumb facebook games

Also having the same issue. Has anyone tried going into Lucky 38, before you go in talk to Victor he says that the robot can't go with you into the casino so it has to wait outside, I read on the front page waiting 7 days in game will force followers to return from where they were recruited. I haven't tried it yet but I will tomorrow night. I'll update later...

Vault 22 does not work either.

Fix this issue.

I've tried going into lucky 38, vault 22, and waiting in the game and none of them have helped, hopefully when the patch comes out it will help.
