im pretty disappointed ..

im pretty disappointed you cant buy an nrc or from what i can tell any official fallout tshirts anywhere..i would gladly pat 30 bucks for the nrc shirt and im pretty sure a lot of other ppl would too..some ppl would probably pay a lot more..ive seen them on ebay for upwards of 90 and i just cant afford that..

i dont understand how the game companys are missing out on this opportunity..they could make a killing selling these types of collectibles..

also i really just dont think its fair...if i can go buy the special edition of the game i should have the option to buy the shirt too..

.....Why? It's just a T-shirt, while it would be a good collecters item, it's nothing to get annoyed about.

There are probably a lot of independent t-shirt companies around that could put a design on a shrit for you.

how? if you just got a cool design from the interwebz, brought it into a store and ask them to make a shirt for you of it, you could easily have it. plus extras :D

Wow. Well I guess sorry to disappoint? Anyway, some fans find other ways to fulfill their Fallout desires when we're unable to get everything.

Then buy it.... Seriously there were a ton there, and some were pretty reasonably priced. I`m too long for a large (my arms always end up sticking out or the shirt hangs on me like an old school belly shirt) or I`d grab one myself.

I thought it was for a collection? You don't wear the t-shirts that you fold up and frame, right? My own collectible t's are in glass cases, like a flag would be. I buy them in smalls when I'm doing that, since I only need the chest and logo to be visible.

Can you play the shirt for hundreds of hours? Get immersed in its story? Develope mods for it? No you cannot, its just a shirt.

I could probably play the shirt for a couple of hundred hours and get really immersed to it's story.
Anythings possible with a little help from your friends. :)

I really have no idea what you're getting at here... Quite confused about that statement.

Anyway, it's possible that they aren't going to release special merch like the shirts until the game releases. I want one of those NCR shirts as well. All you can do is wait for a good one on Ebay or wait until some official word is spread about selling the shirts.

No, because you can do a lot more with a game than a T-shirt :) And a lot more people care about the game than the T-shirt.

And what would you rather? Game or T-shirt?

And what would you rather have? Game or T-shirt?

Depends.
How comfy is the T-shirt?
If it's like the Son Of The Return Of The Comfy Topic then I'd rather have the T-shirt. :)

The thing is, they're a game company, they're not really in the business of mass producing and retailing clothing. They get a small run of promotional items made as give-aways for the pre-release events. The purpose is to drum up hype for the first-day sales of the game, not to establish a Fallout-branded clothing line.

For the die-hard collector, it isn't too hard to get one of the promotional items. I don't think there would be enough demand to make it worth focusing on retailing shirts, and anyway, they wouldn't be very collectible if they were available at Wal-mart.

I'll wait till Christmas to be honest (Hopefully there are some still around by then), After pre-ordering Fallout New Vegas and Black Ops my wallet is empty. :tops:

Fallout:3 shirts were never sold but rather given away to media and at game conventions like PAX. I am doubtful you will get one legit unless it's on ebay.

No, I only have one NCR shirt and it's pretty cool except it's worn out brand new. Made to look old when it's new. It's my favorite t-shirt atm.

I can't tell you how much I agree with this statement. I always thought this and why they wouldn't make some money by selling the shirts to us.You are smart in the business merchandise my friend and I admire that. (maybe it's cause we're both collectors) But I just got an NCR shirt on eBay for $20 on eBay including shipping, quite an amazing find. I'm not saying you'll get the same but I'm just saying eBay can be very helpful. (But it would just be so much easier to go on a "Fallout Store" and purchase any shirt I want from Bethesda who did I mention will be making MONEY on me)
