Im currently on the main dragon questline where i am to get the parties together to talk with the greybeards and form a truce, but when i travel to each of the listed people there is no option to further the quest with any of the characters, and i cant trap the dragon till i get this quest done, so basically im stuck. All the text options with ulfric and the alliance commander are the same and all grey since ive already done them all, and i have the collectors hint book and everything ive done is correct and it say they should reply, but im not getting any prompts.

Anyone have this problem and anyone have a solution.

exactly what is the name of the quest and what does your quest log say exactly.

also, what platform do you play on?

PC, quest is Main quest Act 3, The Fallen. I have to talk to the jarl of whiterun to capture the dragon in dragonsreach, but before that i need to have a truce between Ulric and and General Tullius, which is the quest Season Unending and the grey beards have to mediate between the parties, but all im get is the same greyed out text that ive spoken to them about before, and thats stalled the quest.

Have you spoken to both Tullius and Ulfric and gotten them to agree to meet you at High Hrothgar or are they stuck NOT going?

If you have them both agreed to go, then meet them there and go through the summit.

If you can't get them to go, then go see the Jarl of Whiterun and see what new stuff he has and begin again, even if you're using gray prompts, and go through each step in order to be sure you didn't "fastforward" through a conversation where you had a different option in the middle to something that was said.

I've never had the quest stick there, and there are console commands you can use to force the chain, I'd just make sure you saved before that.

yes, it's a simple thing but you'd be surprised how many people overlook it.

No the jarl of whiterun has nothing i go through all the options which leads to can you help me capture the dragon he says ready when you are dragonborn, but then says dont you need to organise a mediation, then i keep going back to tulllius and ulfric and keep getting the same greyed out text i keep going through all the options they all lead to no where, and give no prompts at all to further the quest, so i went back to the greybeard and he said go talk to those guys and it just started all over again, i understand theres a console command to complete the quest but thats a final final final resort.
