problems and ideas

Well first of all the weapons racks and mannequins and weapons plaque never work and you like 100x the amount of them i was planing on trying to craft one of every weapon/armor with every enchantment possible so I don't know about any one else but them fixed and more of them. As well I would like it if there where more houses to buy and an easier way to move things from house to house or even in the same house (I find it to be hell moving dragon bones and scales around)

An idea I had was that you might be able to buy like a huge house and there would be a huge armory with a specific place for every possible weapon and armor in the game

anyone agree??

post your thoughts and other ideas please I would to see what other people think

Yeah, great idea. It would be cool for sure.
But I'd rather have a game that works right first. Decorating is the least of anyone's concerns.

Erm, if you want a huge house etc then buy the PC version and use the Creation KIt to create it.

These are just basic
I'd like to be able to fight and talk on a horse.
.. horse armour
..To have a companion own a horse
.. to be able to jump while running (on and off the horse)
.. to have someone other than Jack Bauer talk to me (ie more voice actors)
..more cerebral quests rather than "go find" "go frighten" "go talk" "go kill"
..more random approach to NPC routine (I swear if that planting flowers kid runs past me again.......)
.. want the wabbajack to work on children

This need has traditionally been met by Bethesda on consoles with DLC. Sure, they could have given you a master lair in-game. In fact, it wouldn't have been hard for them at all. But making the fortress DLC does make them money. So not a bad business decision.

DLC often has a storyline, as we seen with Battlehorn Castle, Frostcrag Spire etc in Oblivion; both providing unique homes that we'd never seen before.

The DLC was not seen in the PS3 version of Oblivion, whereas I believe it was in seen in the XBOX version. I do not know if this will continue for Skyrim - although I hope not, it was the main reason I bought the PC version to play on Steam.

When it comes to creating a house, well it's quite fun to do on the Construction Set - which I've used for Morrowind and Oblivion, it gets easier the more you work with it.

I've not used Skyrim's Creation Kit yet, so when I decide that my PS3 has done all it can, I'll shift to the PC version to do some modding work and enjoy the mods friends of mine are planning/creating as we speak - I've seen a lovely one featuring Whiterun, in-fact, the screenshot my friend took is my Facebook Cover Photo.

All this is good ideas and I agree with them. But don't this thread belong in the 'General Discussion' section?

I think the title meant for people to both share problems and ideas. No problems shared yet, but if most are like me (and I believe the human race were created in my likeness :drag: ), I'm a bit browned off reporting issues, but not averse to hearing new issues or ideas.

I just wish that people would report bugs and problems in an organized way. Easier to keep track that way. And to me it seems the OP is asking for ideas to improve Skyrim.
And, sure, the human race were created to your likeness, lol. :P

Its like organised chaos here most of the time
...
It is a nice idea to pair new ideas and issues especially if their linked, like better horse animation and movement, especially at the edge of cliffs.

I "beep" hate this they should make it that either that when you buy the game for ps3/xbox you get a pc download free or have DLC and the Construction Set for ps3/xbox

Never going to happen. I remember seeing an interview with Todd Howard in which he said that mods work on the consoles and all they need is a way to install and manage them, but because the platform holders have very strict rules on user created content they wouldn't be able to do it with the release versions. Also MS policy on unsigned code is just a flat out not allowed, and if they can't do it for 360 Bethesda simply won't do it, not out of any sense of favourism but because they have such a cosy relationship with the Xbox division of MS and won't do anything to jeopardise that. They've already had to delay the first Skyrim DLC by a couple months so that they could fix the broken PS3 and PC versions of the core game, the pressure is on Bethesda now to deliver on their agreement for those exclusive DLCs, hopefully one of those will give you the fortress that you're after and, following a 30 day wait from the 360 release you will be allowed to buy it as well, with Bethesda's traditional markup on delayed DLC of course.

'nother idea ; When you are in battle and have used up all you health potions, and have to munch on apples and other food to recover energy. choose an amount of apples or cabbage to eat instead of pressing the X button 40 times just to recover some energy.

Followers need to be a bit faster what's the point in having one if the fights over by the time he/she catches up ?. Also why do they run as if they have a rather unpleasant tummy complaint ?. You should also have an option to tell them to use potions you give them. That might just stop them bending over and shouting I yield when hit by an old woman with a broom. Something that I'm not to keen on is the fact they cant die unless you kill them. It would be better if they could die at the hands of enemy's and when they do bite the dust a new one ( a different person with lower a skill level that needs building up) generates in the place where you picked up your now dead follower.
