Problems with starting Skyrim

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 3:52 pm

Hello,

I purchased Skyrim for PC and am excited to play. Unfortunately I come to some difficulties:

1.) I have a Logitech PS3 lookalike PC controller. How can I configure that one to work in Skyrim? I did some searching but mostly come to guides how to set real PS3 controllers to work within Skyrim. I have a Logitech PC controller.

2.) My graphics settings don't save. I looked things up around this and my file isn't on read only. Don't know what else it can be. Also the game window docks like in the top left of the screen. Can this be changed to load always in the center of the desktop.

Please help with these 2 issues. I love to play Skyrim but so far am a bit stuck at the beginning. Many thanks then.

My system:Windows 7 64 bit, Core i5 2500k - 4400mhz, Nvidia GT240 512mb, 4gb RAM

You will need some third party software to make your controller work. Something like Joy2Key, or some such.

Check the folder properties, and make sure it isn't set to Read Only......

I have the Logitech Rumblepad 2 and search on google. Try search xbox360cemu (xbox360cemu.v.3.0.rar). It worked perfectly for me.

Thanks, installing those 4 Xbox files helped, I can now use and configure the controler.:)

And also found the ini file where the graphics are set. I still can't save graphics from within Skyrim, but editing the ini file and save that in Windows does help. I guess I slowly will learn every setting from the ini file.XP
