I finished everything up in Zion, and on my way back to Novac, I realized that I had forgot to go looking for the unique service rifle!
So I go back and find where it's supposed to be, but it's not there. I checked the Vault, and there's a bug where NPC's or enemies can pick it up and use it, but since I had already completed the DLC, no one is around.
Can anyone help?

Did you search a duffle bag on the top of a cliff of I recall its the survivor's Duffel bag its right next to a skeleton.

Yeah, yeah. That's where I looked first. When it wasn't there, I started looking up the location on the Vault, and learned about the bug.

Sounds like you're screwed.

This is why I save before entering a DLC area.

It's all good. I loaded a save I had before doing the finale of the DLC, and I found it! Also, it gives me a chance to do the other ending.

unfortunetly i'm one of those who did'nt get before finishing so lady luck's not on my side but it's okay i have 5 more chars to go through :biggrin: :fallout:

If you are on PC you can just use console.

type: player.additem xx00dd79 1

(The "xx" part it's a number that is depends on how many of the DLCs you have for example, if you only have HH the it would be 0100dd79 1, if you have DM and HH then it would be 0200dd79 1)

if you did quests first but didnt leave yet you can still grab it i did. i found all the duffle bags but last one. found it while exploring after i did quests. before leaving zion.
