Alright Im not sure where I should have posted this thread but, ill just do it here till someone complains about it

I wanted to start on the Thieves guild quest line, but when I get into Riften, Brynjolf isnt there to greet me + many other npc are missing:(
I didnt even get the quest showing me the way to Brynjolf that you can get from an npc called Maul.
During these past hours ive been trying to figure this all out and I think ive gotten pretty close now because I have now tried to use a command to force me to get the prequest for A chance arrangement (setstage TG00MaulHandler 10). The prequest tells me to go outside Riften, but there are still no one to been seen, so I tried a different method to go enter the city. I used the command tcl (No clip) and walked right through the walls to find the missing npcs and there they all stand.. All of the missing npcs are standing inside the city but not in the "phased city" if you know what i mean.

The npc that were missing is that I found in the "Not Phased City": Brynjolf, Dinya Balu, Madesi, Brand-Shei, Balimund, Bolli and Wujeeta

Any idead on how to make fix this ? To get them all back into the phased city ?

Morrowind (and Oblivion, I think) had the EXTREMELY useful RA (resetactors) command, but that is, sadly, gone in Skyrim for some reason.

You can pull an NPC directly to you w/the following command: placeatme , but this is not recommended as it may cause NPC duplications.

If you have mods loaded, unload them and see if you are good.
