Am I progressing too fast?

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 5:47 pm

I'm a level 15 werewolf and I think I'm moving too fast. I married and live in a house already, I discovered plenty locations from just roaming around, dragon fights are relatively easy for me, I killed a Dragon Priest at a word wall I discovered, I also beat up a Draugr Death Overlord for his Ebony Sword while I was in wolf form.

You don't need to ask people if you play it right, it's single-player for a reason.

Moving too fast in my opinion would be: I completed MQ, joined The Dark Brotherhood, Joined companions, completed the civil war, etc etc. There's plenty of side quests to do. Just take your time and don't rush through dungeons n the like.

And Komodo & Lexandro have a point.

It's a single player game, you are playing at your own pace. Who are we to say whether you moving too fast or not? Do what you want, don't effect us one bit....

It depend. Are you hungry, thirsty, both ....

Seriously, if you play at the easiest level I m not surprised
Also what sort of level 15 is that
If it means one handed 100% heavy armor 100% dual wielder
Or if it means Archery 100% and stealth 100%
... I m not that surprised ....

However if you are a level 15 locksmith
with 100% speechcraft 100% locksmithing and 15% in anything else
And playing on master difficulty, wearing a cook hat and blacksmith apron
And using as only weapons a knife and a fork (not a dagger, a simple knife)
Well, what can I say, I am trully impressed

Now, is M'aiq your follower, by any chance ....
and are you always traveling with that wandering bard ....
That s quite a trio you got there then ....

Sounds about right. I haven't tried to fight dragon priests and the like as a werewolf. I have tried to get into a slugfest with a giant while my Battlemage was in werewolf form. Started off great, but I got sent into orbit when Mr. Giant was down to about 25% health.

Before he was a werewolf, he had a few dragon kills under his belt, as well as several Deathlords and Krosis before hitting lvl 20, though I wouldn't say they were easy fights. Lots of running around in tight spaces against the Deathlords, and it took me about 25 minutes of long-distance fighting to beat Krosis after losing a 35 minute duel with him.

Generally speaking, around level 25 is when performance is at its peak. You have a lot of good perks and will have your primary skills decently high and game balance is pretty good. Post 25, the game starts to rapidly decline on all difficulties. I am not sure why this is, but it is very frustrating when you want to progress further and or DO NOT want to progress further. You can't do anything about the fact that simply using your skills makes you more powerful.
