i highly doubt Brink will be game of the year. in my personal opinion its not even close.

As much as I love Brink, there's no way it beats out BF3, MW3, UC3, ME3, and/or GoW3 for game of the year.

In my mind, there hasnt been a 100% stand out game this year so far. Brink won't win, it is a great and fun game nontheless

Of the games I've played with GOTY status (namely Fallout 3 and Oblivion) Even if Brink were to become that popular, it would need AT LEAST 4 DLCs included free to make it worthwhile.
GOTY games seem to be more about reselling the games with their DLC content already unlocked on the disc rather than being a game worthy of "Game of the Year" quarter of the time anyway.
