After getting all the upgrades I noticed there is still an extra room in the basemant. It looks like the others did before the upgrade. Anyone else see this? Is this just how it is or do you get more upgrades later on. I hope it is a blacksmith shop for dlc or something.

Yeah I have the same problem. Kinf of frustrating to pay around 36 000 gold for a manor when there is still an ugly room in the basemant and that this same basemant is full of spiderwebs in every corner... need to hire a maiden to clean this place! Preferably an argonian one... :P

I feel bad that my housecarl has to sleep on a rag on the floor. I mean, this house is pretty darn big. At least in Markarth by dude gets his own bed. (Of course "even the beds are made of stone" there.)

I had the same problem in my Riften house the steward short changed he spent the money on cheap [censored]s and crack and left the servants room bare.

There should be a bed, dresser, wardrobe,and nightstand for your Housecarl's quarters in the Honeyside home in Riften. Unfortunatly your Housecarl in Solitude has to sleep on some junky rags layed down on solid rock which they call a "bedroll".
