PS3 Screenshot

Ok, so the Xbox got all this great kinect functionality. To include the ability to sort containers, direct followers and shout at your TV.

How about we get you to use the built-in screen shot function of the PS3?

I'm betting this is way less to implement than the Kinect functionality in any case. And you (beth) could certainly use the good will it would engender with us PS3 users.

So c'mon, break somebody away from shining Alduin's wall for half a day and add the screenie function to the PS3 version of the 1.6 patch.

TIA

You can capture in-game screenshotts by saving your game thus capturing the screenshot and then transfer the image file of the save to a flash drive

That sounds annoyingly long compared to screen shotting, should be like the final fantasy reset function, make it easy

Yeah, this is how I produced my profile avatar here, but it the resolution is horrible and its hard to get a good action shot since you can't move the camera with weapons drawn.

Yes you can. Hold down the right stick, move camera with the left.

A screenshot option would be very nice. Especially if it came with a SS "mode" where you could pause it and position your shot with much more freedom of movement with the camera.

Honestly, I'd rather be able to sort containers, but that's for another thread. I'll settle for good quality screenshots. Not that it'll be implemented, just sayin'.

They have a screenshot option for a poor quality game coughMW3cough, but not a beautiful game like Skyrim. Very strange.

I'm wondering if that's done with a game software update, or the system update itself.

this doesn't work if you draw a weapon.

I would rather have a decent UI altogether, but its not coming.

But if they could sort for kinect because it has that nice built in VR api, why not use the PS3's built in screenshot ability.
