Has anybody else had their PS3 freeze when you try and enter the well? I've played the level several ways to try and avoid it: Used the key, picked the lock, different clothing, etc, to no avail.

I cannot find any information that it is a known glitch. Any ideas?

There's a general glitch in the PS3 version when you go under water. The underwater view has been updated, and there's a problem. The advice (which worked for me) is to delete the game data and the upgrade data with the appropriate PS3 tools (not your save data, obviously). When you re-enter the game it reloads the game data and downloads the upgrade.

That seems to eliminate the problem. Of course I can't be certain this is your problem, but it sounds like it.
