PS3 SYSTEM FROZEN UP!ADMINISTRATORS

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:12 am

I was just fighting some POWDER GANGERS at the NCRCF about 10 minutes ago and my PS3 system (FROZE UP) right when I pulled up my (PITBOY).Which may I also say that.I do have the New 250GB Slim version of the PS3.That's kinda of strange because this time around it only took 30 minutes to FREEZE UP as opposed to the other night when it took 7+hours until it finally froze. Please someone help.

I'll add my experience here so the developers have the info to make an update to the PS3.

I'm at Level 6 now and the only problem I've run into was on a Save at Level 5. I save often so i didn't lose a lot but still, I had to redo that part of my game.

I selected Save. The roulette wheel kept spinning and that part never saved. The screen hints kept recycling and the audio kept going but it was just stuck there.

If it matters: I got the Classic Pack on my pre-order and redeemed my code after saving my Training part of the game. My game then updated the inventory with the items.

I hope it's an easy fix. Loving the game...it's hard for me on Normal!

Mine froze within an hour of unwrapping the game. During the Sunny Smiles tutorial, complete freeze, made me feel really good about buying this game...

I write a polite detailed explanation of the issue, and send it off to their customer support, asking for a follow up on this issue. All I got back was a copy + paste response that didn't even address my concerns, really svcked.

I played the game for about 45 minutes, the game froze. I write in to tech support about the issue, and this garbage response is what I get:
1. Problems may arise if you have been playing the game for an extended period of time. Let the system cool down, then try running the game.

Well then, guess I can only play for 30 minutes at a time. Never had another game crash my system besides Fallout 3 and Fallout: NV, but you're right, I shouldn't expect to play for more than 30 minutes.

The rest of the email was copy + paste crap that had nothing to do with my initial support request.

My system has frozen several times too, once when i was coming out of a building i believe in Primm, and another 2 random times dont remember what i was doing at the time. Also I am unable to mod my weathered 10mm with a silencer, it gives me a red and yellowish box around my avatar. I have seen several enemies either stuck in (while alive and moving around) or fall into rock/mountain after killing them. I really expected more from you guys, come on Obsidian, you guys were the bringers of Fallout (under a different company).... please fix (Fallout's) my favorite game's bugs and reputation...

What people have to realize is a new game means new problems, even though it is the same engine. I have an 80GB 2nd gen PS3, pretty nice. Only crashed once, but random encounter spots are obvious when you walk into cause the game ever so slightly jumps, oh, then I've had a big horn go into a building once, but that's all. Still very playable.

How do u figure that because its a new game, there will be new problems...it isnt fair for us to buy a new game and have all these problems. Same example can be used for a new car.

Its like buying a new pair of shoes and having the soles fall off in the first day....oh they are new shoes so there will be new problems.

Game companies are getting worse at expecting us to beta test these game when they come out becaue they cannot find qualified game testers (beta testers) to test there games...or they do not listen to these beta testers because they have to meet a deadline.

I am a HUGE fan of Fallout and they company...with that being said they need to be accountable as well for this...personally this game wasnt ready to be on the self atm. But because video game companies do not have to follow the same standards for there paying customers, this will only get worse before it gets better.

Blizzard is just as guilty, same as EA, Activision....its very sad and funny how the cost of games keeps going up.
