Getting my companion to follow in some places. I'm only a level 8 so I haven't been playing very long and although I owned FO3 I never really played it much. Again, I'm playing the PS3 version if that helps.

Anyway, my problem is when I am traveling around I will sometimes look back to see if my companion (Veronica) is tagging along like she should and often when I go through an area where I must pass through a door she gets lost. Anyone else having this?

It's a real pain because I then have to back track to get her. Some spots I can't get her to follow at all. One example is, right now I just left the Lucky 38 and gained permission for friends to join me inside but when I go through the front door she stays behind.

Its not just the PS3 I get this on 360 aswell and somtimes she will just run off at speed in some random direction, other times shes stuck to the spot and won't move, other times she gets stuck in walls/floors. Just a very buggy game I'am afraid.

That svcks! Hopefully they are working on a patch.

Well...to be honest, you really couldn't hold my breath. At least I don't see any way to do it. :hehe:

I don't know how this developer is with updating and patching but I really hope you're wrong. I've been playing MAG for so long I forget what it's like to play a game where the devs don't support it well. Zipper patches monthly or more in that game and it's great. But it's really going to piss me off if they never do anything about the bugs in this game. Like I said, I really never played FO3 much but because of all the great reviews for it and now this one I decided to buy NV.

I guess we'll just have to wait to see.

OK...now I've completely lost her. She is on the steps of the lucky 38 and won't move. Nothing I do gets here to move...this is terrible!

just fast travel somewhere, or enter a new instance, she should pop up by your side.

I went through the doors into the strip but that didn't help...I'll try fast travel. Thanks

Do they even bother testing games before releasing them? This is so far, the most glitchiest game I've ever played on PS3.

OK...I feel like a dumb ass. I had to push the "follow me" button after leaving the Lucky 38. I assumed she would just start following again once I came out.

This is happening to me too. I'm on Xbox. I've fixed it by waiting 24 hours and then it'll say " has returned to " with both ED-E and Boone, but I just recently lost Raul and he has not reappeared for awhile now. I've been companionless for 2 IRL days now.

Ya...I just found out (as I said in last post) that I have to hit the follow button after leaving a spot where she wasn't allowed to follow. Of course this doesn't nullify the fact that she sometimes just gets lost for no reason.

Like...she begged me to come along and then I have to spend tons of my time chasing her down.

But seriously, it is a real pain having to look for her everywhere when she gets lost.
