I vote for PS3 having the best community. The people who buy PS3's are usually the ones that hate the pay-to-play system of the 360 and/or get fed up with the caffeine-twitch reaction of most kids who play on the PC.

I like how instead of actually posting about the topic, everyone chooses to complain about how this will turn into a fan war. Here's a heads up guys- the majority of the posts in this thread aren't people flaming, they're you morons telling the OP the thread will end up like that. I actually argue with [censored] all the time, and can't understand how in holy hell this can turn into a really devoted fan flame war.

Xbox is most definitely going to have the worst community. It'll be small, annoying, and everyone in it will likely moan about things like sliding with a shotty and spamming grenades. Mainly because they're used to all 1,000,000 of the other shooters on the 360.

PC gaming is, from what I can tell, not doing very well as far as FPS go. Seems like all the rage is Starcraft.

Kinda leaves PS3 in the lead by default...

Take it from me - there are only to reasons why people ever use insults against one another.

1) They are testing the waters to see how far they can go and/or trying for an aggressive reaction.

2) They don't have decent comebacks, so they feel they must resort to taunting to keep their wounded e-peens intact.

I'm probably forgetting something but as far as notable exclusives go 360 has Halo and Gears, while PS3 has Killzone, Resistance, Uncharted, SOCOM, and MAG. Even Metal Gear Online, but... well, that probably shouldn't count. Don't see why you'd peg Xbox as the one with all the shooters.

As far as community, probably PC if modding takes off.

I generally think that the PS3 is more of a hardcoe/competitive console, Xbox is more casual, and I don't know about the PC.

But these are generalizations based on the kinds of games toted for each console. There will be casual PS3 gamers and supercompetitive Xbox gamers. My opinion is just that: an opinion. Considering I'm fairly new to the world of games in general and only to the Xbox, my impression is based off of advertising and quick glances at gaming articles.

PS3 won't have as many players since they have good shooters
PC will most likely be the "MLG" platformer, the fact that you can use a keyboard, xbox controller, or PS3 controller means that dedicated players from all platformers will be moving to the PC

P.S. I love xbox, but PC is a PC, not a console... It wins every time sorry

Lol other way around IMO. All the guys I know IRL who are "hardcoe" at Halo, CoD, BFBC etc., boast about their skills and talk trash are all 360 guys. But that's just me

True enough; but there are a lot of PS3-exclusive shooters that look intimidating as hell. Whether they are actually as frightening as they look or whether they have competitive multiplayer, I don't know. But yeah, Xbox "pro" players can be really annoying. Speaking from experience.

Haha, I never said that. Halo is great, Gears 3 is looking good, and I don't think Id take any of the exclusive shooters over the multiplatform ones anyway.
